1986 OBITS



Mrs. Lou T. Lucius Tabb, 86, Lucius formerly of Webster County died March 13 1986 at Tallahatchie General Hospital after a short illness  .Mrs. Tabb, affectionately known as "AuntT" was a retired teacher, She and her late husband, Lewis Tabb, resided in Belzoni, for a number of years where they taught and had farming interest. a nenber if Belzoni Baptist church, she had been a resident of Charleston for several years. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Pearlie Griffin & Mrs. Willie Vaughan & Mrs. Betty Griffin, two Brothers, Jimmie Lucius, Roger Lucius and a number of neices, nephews, cousins & friends. Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church of Charleston with graveside services at Greencrest Gardens in Belzoni. Entombment was in Greencrest Gardens Mausoleums with Womble Funeral Home of Charleston directing. Pallbearers were Glen, Harold Ray & Robert Gary &Jim & David & Eugene Lucius. Memorials were made to Hebron Cemetery & Shady Grove Cemetery in Webster County and other organizations.

ORIS HENLEY

Funeral services for Oris Henley were conducted July 29 1986 from Clarkson Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Smith and Rev. L. D. Armstrong officiating. Burial was in Clarkson Cemetery with Oliver Funeral H&ome of Eupora in charge of all arrangements. A native of Webster County, Mr. Henley died July 27 at Webster General Hospital. He was 71. A retired employee of Babcock & Wilcox Mfg. Plant in West Point, he attended the Fame Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Belle Wright Henley of Mantee; two sisters, Lois Blanton and Mildred Henley both of Mantee; three brothers, James W. Henley and Roy Henley both of Mantee and Clyde Henley af Hammond, La,; and a host of nieces and nephews. Palbearers were James Henley, Ralph Henley, Kerry Henley, Jim Wright, Paul Ellison, and James Harrison,
