Are you married or unmarried? Married. Q. In what State and County did you reside when you enlisted in the service of the Confederat Staes? Choctaw County, Miss. Q. What was the date of your enlistment? Oct. 1863. Q. What was the number of the regiment ot the name of the vessel in which you fisrt enlisted? 5th Miss. Calvary. Q. The name of it's Commander? J. Z. George. Q. Letter or the designation of the Company in which you enlisted? "B" Q. The name of it's Captain? Trotter Q. The length of thime you served in the above company or regiment? About one year. Q. Where you discharged or transferred from the above commands? Transferred because of the loss of so many men in our regiment. Q. Give the date of the discharge or transfer from the above commands. Have you any relations or connections whose legal and moral duty to provide for you? Sons and daughters (the rest is unreadable) I do solemnly Swear or affirm that I was a Confederate soldier, sailor, or servant. that I was honorably discharged or paroled or did not desert from the Confederate service, that I reside in the State, that I am indigent and infirm by reason of service while int he Confederate army or navy that I am not able to earn a support and have no relatives able whose legal and moral duty to support me. And I do not own property, real or in my own name or that of my wife to the value of four hundred dollars, that I have not conveyed any of my property to anyone with a view of drawing a pension.
