CORINTH - Harry Jones Lockett 69, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville

He was an active member of the Episcopal Church. He was a 1951 honor graduate in Bossier City, La., High School. He was U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korea conflict, serving as a Russian linguist He was a certified internal systems analyst and a certified internal auditor He retired from ITT Telecom in Corinth and Alcatel of Corinth. He was a member of the Camden, Ark., Jaycees and the Corinth Theatre Arts.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Corinth with Father Tim Jones officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery in Corinth. Magnolia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Bettie Thompson Lockett of Corinth; three daughters, Kathy Marir Massey of Summertown, Tenn., Tiny Belle Wollam of Corinth, and Tamml Lee and Randy Wooldridge of Nettle ton; a special son, Mikael and Charlotte Sundving of Lidkoping, Sweden seven grandchildren; two special grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Jean and Frank Wood of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a half brother, Richard Lockett of Montgomery, Ala.

He as preceded in death by his father, Harry Jones Lockett Sr.; his mother, Maggie Marie Lee Lockett Fair, and his stepfather, William W. Fair.

Visitation will be at the church from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday.

Death of Mrs. Lockhart

The funeral of Mrs. Lelia Jones Lockhart occurred Friday from the residence of Dr. W.V. Davis. The remains were laid to rest at Osborne Creek Churchyard. Mrs. Lockhart died at her home in Peachtree,N.C.

She was formerly Miss Lelia Jones of this place where she spent her childhood. She married Mr. Vernon Lockhart of North Carolina, and moved to that state several years ago. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Jones and a most noble woman. We tender to the bereaved relatives our sympathy.

RIPLEY - Revis Clifton Lockhart, 75, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, at his home. He was a Baptist, a retired carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Corinth with the Rev. Pete Wooley, the Rev. Smiley Mills, the Rev. Michael Aoa and the Rev. Tim Haas officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery.

RIPLEY ‑ Thomas M. “Tammy" Lockhart, 57, died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998, at Baptist Memorial Hospital­ East in Memphis. He was an ama­teur historian and wrote several books on the history of Tippah Coun­ty that are in genealogy libraries across the U.S. He was an elder of the Spout Springs Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Lockhart.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Spout Springs Presbyterian Church, and the ministers will be the Rev. Steve Mosley, the Rev. William J. "Bill" Connolly and the Rev. Chuck Carroll. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McBride Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

FULTON - Elvie Lee "L" Loden, 91, died Saturday, June 19, 2004, at the Dogwood Plantation Assisted Living Center in Fulton. A lifelong resident of the Big Oak community he was born June 24, 1912, to George H. Loden and Hattie Loague Loden. He ran a sawmill and farmed most of his life. He was a member of the Friendship Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jackie Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery.

FULTON - Helen Louise Lofton, 71, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, in Fulton. She was born Aug. 23, 1932, in Itawamba County to Reggie and Mittie Burton Byram Wood. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a former member of the First Baptist Church of Winthrop Harbor, Ill. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was an employee of Complete Home Care of Fulton and a former shipping clerk at Burgess-Anderson-Tate Printing Supplies.

 Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Senter Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jackie Gray and Bro. Carl Lofton officiating. Burial was in Itawamba Memorial Garden.

 Survivors include her husband, Charlie Lofton of Fulton; two sons, Chuck Lofton and wife, Mary Lou, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Donald Lofton of Toledo, Ohio; her mother, Burton Wood of Fulton; three grandchildren, Timothy, Paul and Phillip Lofton; three sisters, Dorothy Wood, Johnnie Mae Devaughn and husband, Bill, and Peggy Hayes, all of Fulton; two brothers, Danny Wood, and Ricky Wood and wife, Nancy, all of Fulton.

CORINTH - Carrie Mae Logue, 80, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a member of Second and Meek Street Church of Christ. A faithful Christian lady, she was known for thinking of others first and visiting with residents of local nursing homes and assisted living homes. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors with Minister Daniel Holloway officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

MEMPHIS - Evie Wilbanks Logan, 81, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at the Quince Health and Rehab. She was born Dec. 13, 1922, to J. F. and Willie Able Wilbanks. She was a factory worker for Carrie Corp. and a member of Fisherville Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Corinthian Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Burrell officiating. Burial will be in Holly Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Chuck Logan and wife, Augusta, of Collierville, Tenn., and Wayne Jones and wife, Gail, of Moscow, Tenn.; a half brother, the Rev. James Burrell of Indianola; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Logan; four brothers, Edgar Burrell, Joe David Wilbanks, Lonnie Wilbanks and Ray Wilbanks; and two sisters, Mary Wilbanks and Ora Hale.

Jewell Muse Logan, 86, of Booneville, died Monday, Sept. 2, 1985, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville following one year of failing health.

Services were Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 10 a.m. at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial was in Booneville Cemetery.

Mrs. Logan was a housewife and a Baptist.

She is survived by her husband, Dewey L. Logan of Booneville; a son, Jack W. Owens of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Quteau Howton of Hattiesburg and Mrs. Anita Red of Pensacola, Fla.; an aunt, Mrs. Jessie Greer, of McEwen, Tenn.; four sisters, Mrs. Grace Moore of New Site, Mrs. Edna :,Wicks of Corinth, Mrs. Mary Harrison of Walnut and Mrs. Ollie D. Morgan of . Ripley; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

JOAN LOONEY

Joan Young Looney, 63, of Booneville, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at her home after an extended illness.

Services were Thursday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m. at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ben Parman officiating. Burial was in Booneville Cemetery.

Mrs. Looney was a retired school teacher. She loved to read and enjoyed her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and June Young.

She is survived by a daughter, Tammi Pannell of Booneville; and two grandchildren, William Smith and Storm Pannell.

BOONEVILLE - Lizzie Tennyson Logan, 98, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at Booneville Baptist Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Little Brown Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving mother who enjoyed flowers.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. B.P. Thornton and Bro. Rickey Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Little Brown Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Ruby Garner and husband, Willie, and Kathleen Hutcheson, all of Booneville, and Ann Lacy and husband, David, of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sons, Hubert Tennyson and wife, Beulah, and Gene Tennyson and wife, Mevoline, all of Booneville; six grandchildren, Jerry, Larry, Jimmy and Mike Tennyson, and Kimberly and Scott Lacy; seven great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Anthony, Scott, Jeanna, Holley, Michaela and Emma Tennyson.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifton Tennyson; her second husband, Dewey Logan; her parents, Isom and Sarah Grimes; two infant sons, Charles and Homer Tennyson; two sisters, Leona Boren and Willa Mae Pate; and four brothers, Fred, Andy, Clint and Prentiss Grimes.

CORINTH - J. V. Lokey, 75, died Friday, Feb. 27,2004, at his residence. He was born Aug. 13, 1928, in Alcorn County to the late Robert Lokey and Effie Lancaster. He was a retired from the U. S. Army as Sgt. First Class after serving 26 years and two tours during the Vietnam War. He worked at Hall Printing in Corinth. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, Master Mason and a Shriner, a member of the American Legion, Forty-N-Eight and a member of the VFW.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Culp and Douglas Briggs officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth National Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Ingrid B. Lokey of Corinth; one son, Robert V. Lokey of Corinth; three daughters, Jean Marshall and Betty Ann Burkett, both of Virginia, and Effie Lokey of Corinth; one brother, B. W. Lokey of Oklohoma; four sisters, Maggie Lee Briggs, Gladys Dunn, Carrie Louge, all of Corinth, and Jane August of Pickwick, Tenn.; his daughter-in-law, Jeanie Marie Lokey of Corinth; Shianna H. Larkin L. Lokey, 83, of Wheeler, died, Friday, June 28, 1985, following three months of illness.

Services were Sunday, June 30, at 2 p.m. at McMillan Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Tim Green and Bro. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial was in Booneville Cemetery.

Mr. Lokey was a Baptist, a 32nd degree Mason and a carpenter.

He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Rea Hisaw of Wheeler; a sister, Miss Effie Lokey of Corinth five grandchildren and four great-; grandchildren.

DICKIE LOMENICK

IUKA - Harold T. "Dickie" Lomenick, 79, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at Southern Magnolia Estates in Iuka. He was a lifetime resident of Iuka and Tishomingo County. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1980 after 32 years of service, with the last 21 years as postmaster of the Iuka Post Office. He was a member of the Iuka United Methodist Church for 50 years. He served as a anti-tank gunner with the 103rd Infantry Division in Europe during World War II, receiving the Bronze Star Medal of Valor. He retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard as a master sergeant after 30 years of service. He enjoyed golf and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka with the Rev. Ed Temple and the Rev. Jack Williams officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 57 1/2 years, Estelle Hudson Lomenick; three sons, Harold E. and wife, Judy, and Gary and wife, Teresa, all of Iuka, and Robert "Bob" and wife, Penny, of Holly Springs; a sister, Patsy Marsh and husband, Dick, of Greenville; two brothers-in-law, Clarence Moody of Cherokee, Ala., and J.E. Hudson and wife, Mae, of Iuka; seven grandchildren, Brandi Lomenick White and husband, Bart, of Baldwyn, Molly Lomenick of Houston, Texas, Van Lomenick of Iuka, Blake Lomenick of Clarksville, Tenn., Robert and John Travis Lomenick of Senatobia, and Erin Lomenick of Holly Springs; two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Hank White of Baldwyn; a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James C. and Icie Lomenick; a brother, James Lomenick; and a sister, Lottie Jean Noody.

IUKA - Laura Jean Lomenick, 69, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at the Iuka Hospital. She was a homemaker and attended Mission Lighthouse Church. She enjoyed music, flowers and spending time with her family.

IUKA - Mattie Lomenick, 91, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at the Iuka Hospital. She was a former employee of Curtis Drug Store in Iuka for many years. She was a member of the Iuka United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and working in her yard.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka with the Rev. Ed Temple officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include three sisters, Mary Frances Rinks, Ruby Gurley and Nina Grissom, all of Iuka; a sister-in-law, Gladys Lovelace of Iuka; a special niece whom she helped raise, Susie Phillips of Montgomery, Ala.; two grandsons, Dan Finch of Iuka and Rusty Wolfard of Collierville, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Cindy Hudson of Iuka and Krystal Cartwright of Port Aransas, Texas; seven great-grandchildren.

KOSCIUSKO - Nell Lomenick, 71, formerly of Iuka, died Thursday, May 27, 2004, at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson. She was a member of Snowdown United Methodist Church and was formerly employed at the TVA Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Snowdown Cemetery with the Red Dwain Whitehurst officiating. Cutshall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include Bud Dodson of Kosciusko; one son, Trip Lomenick and his wife, Norma, of Iuka; two brothers; four sisters; one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Grand and husband, Don, of Iuka; one granddaughter, Abigail Lomenick.

IUKA - William Harold "Bill" Lomenick Jr., 60, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at the Iuka Hospital. He was a former employee of Norfolk Southern Railway.

IRENE LOMINICK

Services for Grace Irene Lominick were June 17 at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Raybon Richardson officiating.

Lominick, 87, died June 15, 2002, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a brief illness.

She was a retired employee of Futorian and a hairdresser. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was the widow of Jimmy Lominick.

Survivors include one son, James M. Lominick of Huntsville, Ala.; three sisters, Ruth Moms of Tupelo, Rachel Farris of New Albany, and Zell Elliot of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren, Milburn Lominick of Huntsville, Ala., and Janice Stewart of Harvest, Ala., two great-grandchildren, Brittney Hermes and Andrew Stewart.

Burial was in the Lebanon Cemetery.

CORINTH - Bobby E. "Bob" Long, 73, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis. He was retired from sales and a Baptist. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed working on cars.

HOWARD LONG

BOONEVILLE – Robert Howard Long, 78, died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis after a long illness. He was a retired educator and will long be remembered for his commitment of service to his community and to his church.

He was a graduate of Booneville High School and Mississippi State University where he earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in education. Upon completion of college, he served in the U.S. Army. After training at Fort Jackson, S.C., he was sent to Korea, serving with the 6^th Tank Battalion, 24^th Division.

He began his educational career in Alcorn Count and then came to Prentiss County, where he remained until retirement. He taught at Wheeler High School for six years before accepting the position of principal at Booneville Jr. High School, which was later named in his honor. He was also principal at Anderson Jr. High where he served for 19 years. He retired in 1994 after 42 years of educational service.

He was an active member of the First Baptist Church, where he was a longtime deacon and Sunday school teacher in the Junior Department as well as working with the R.A.’s for many years. He was a past recipient of the Prentiss County Outstanding Citizen Award.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Lynn Jones and Dr. Bill Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, JoAnn Bruce Long; one sister, Martha Long Miller of Booneville; two brothers, Jack Long of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and George Long of Booneville; three nieces, Martha Carolyn Miller, Tina Long, and Tonja Michael and husband Weylon; one nephew, Ellis Long and wife, Angie.

Pallbearers will be David Bolen, J.W. Jennings, David Jones, Hubert McDaniel, Bill Morgan and Harold Prichard.

IUKA - Lee Roy Long, 69, died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at his home. He was a retired truck driver and heavy equipment mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Long of Iuka; his mother, Lois Jourdan Long of Iuka; a daughter, Deborah Porter of Navarre, Fla.; two grandchildren, Tim Stidham and Franklin Stidham, both of Iuka; two great-grandsons, Ethan and Seth Stidham.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy F. Long, and his father- and mother-in-law, J.B. and Pemie Mock.

MICHAEL LEE LONG

BALDWYN - Michael Lee Long, 51, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, in Itawamba County as the result of an automobile accident. He was born Dec. 12, 1951, in Kenosha, Wis., to the late Hugh Wallace Long and Annis Louise Sheffield Long. He was self-employed in furniture and carpentry before becoming disabled. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a 32nd degree Mason in the Center Star Lodge. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Castor Buse officiating. Burial will be in the Ozark Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Long of the Pratts community; a son, Swane Long of the home; a daughter, Amy Long of Bowling Green, Ky.; two brothers, Mickey Long and wife, Frances, of Eggville, and Larry Long and wife, Linda, of Southaven; several nieces and nephews.

BOONEVILLE - Ortha Pounds Long, 91, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at the Landmark Community in Booneville after a long illness. She was the retired owner of The Dress Shop in Booneville, which she established in 1946. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Booneville Pilot Club and a member of the Booneville Woman's Club.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Hankins and Dr. Lynn Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.

Survivors include a son, Dr. James Stanley Long and his wife, Carolyn, of Booneville; two sisters, Marie Gullett of Booneville and Betty Crawford of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Dr. Billy Pounds of Booneville; three grandchildren, Cliff Long and his wife, Gerry, Julie Cothren and her husband, Jay, and Susan Cristo and her husband, Mike; six great-grandchildren, Lindsey, James and Abby Long, Corbin Cothren, and Megan and Drew Cristo.

Willis Haskell Long, 77, of Memphis, died Monday, March 22, 2004, at his home after an extended illness.

He was retired from Smith and Nephew Company and a member of Hickory Hills Baptist Church in Memphis. He was U.S. Army veteran of Korea.

Services were Thursday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gerald Hodges officiating. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Maxie Dee McCown Long; one daughter, Marty Long Thomas and her husband, James V., of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Joshua Michael Thomas, Micah Lauren Thomas and Joel Andrew Thomas, all of Atlanta, Ga.; four sisters, Lowell Moore of Booneville, Marie Cartwright of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., Shelby McLarty and Cilla Cochran, both of New Albany; two brothers, Charles Rubel Long of Selma, Ala., and Jerry Wayne Long of New Albany.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Long.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Margaret Josephine Caldwell Love, 83, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at her residence in Birmingham after an extended illness. She was formerly of Baldwyn, a member of the Bluff Park Methodist Church and a former teacher. She was the widow of Fount Ransom Love.

IUKA - Avon G. Lovelace, 70, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at the Iuka Hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired from the General Motors Fisher Body Plant in Chicago, Ill. He was known as a hard worker and a loving father.

IUKA - William J. "Bill" Lovelace, 67, died Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at the Iuka Hospital. He was a member of the Iuka United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1953-1976, retiring as captain. He was a highly decorated Force Recon. He served in the Korean conflict and two tours of duty in Vietnam. He also served at the National Security Agency. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, working with computers and researching genealogy. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Moocher.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Iuka United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tony Pounders officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Dean Lovelace of Iuka; a son, William J. TISHOMINGO - Dexter Lee Loveless, 72, died Saturday, April 13, 1991, at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Memphis. He was a retired employee of the state Highway Department and a member of the Paden Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Belmont VFW. He served as mayor of Paden for three terms during the late 1960s and early 1970s.

BOONEVILLE - Lois Hardwick Loveless, 67, died Wednesday, July 12, 1995, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after an extended illness. She was a retired supervisor for Blue Bell and a member of the Primitive Baptist church. She was the widow of S. H. "Shorty" Love- less.

Jodie Harvil Loveless, 71, of Sauk Village, Ill., died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 1997, at his home.

Mr. Loveless was a World War II Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 96. He was preceded in death by one son, James Loveless.

BOONEVILLE - Roy B. Loveless, 80, died Thursday, April 1, 2004, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born Nov. 7, 1923, in Paden to General Sherman and Effie Loveless. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Farm Bureau Insurance after 32 years as agency manager. He was associated with the Civitan Club, Soil Conservation and the Farm Bureau Board of Directors.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mavous Phifer officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.

TISHOMINGO - Ruby Tidwell Loveless, 94, died Sunday, April 6, 1992, at the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Iuka. She was a homemaker, and a member of Tishomingo Church of Christ and the Eastern Star. She was the widow of Joseph Lee Loveless.

Virginia Dodds Loveless, 74, died, Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, at her daughter's home in Sauk Village, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jodie Loveless, on Jan. 22, 1997; and by a son, James Harvil Loveless.

Edna Ethel Tennyson Lovell, 78, of Booneville, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Lovell was a retired nurse's aide and the widow of Humbert Lovell. She loved flowers and sewing.

She is survived by three sisters, Novalee Grimes, Vernice Bishop and Syble Southern, all of Booneville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Reba Barron; and two brothers, Coleman Tennyson and J. W. Tennyson.

RIENZI - Humbert Franklin Lovell, 79, died Saturday at his home. He was a retired employee of the Heritage Manor Nursing Home and a member of Gaston Baptist Church.

She was 71 years of age and had lived with her daughter Mrs. Sherman Corbin for the last few years. Her husband passed away several years ago. The children who survive are William, Harvey, Jim, Jack, Humbert, Austin, Sallie, Mrs. Mollie Setliff, and Mrs. Sherman Corbin all of Prentiss County.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Gaston.

William Caracas Lovell 84, of Booneville, died Monday. Aug. 7, 1995, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville after an extended illness.

Services were Wednesday, Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Lowery officiating. Burial was in Liberty Memorial Garden.

Mr. Lovell was a retired farmer and a member of Thrasher Baptist Church.

WARREN GRAY LOVETT

CORINTH - Warren Gray Lovett, 78, formerly of Memphis, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He graduated from W.R. Moore School of Technology. He was retired as a draftsman and supervisor for National Manufacturing Company in 1987, then worked in floor sales for Pay-Less Cashways from 1994 to 1998. He belonged to the Leila Scott Masonic Lodge where he was Past Master. He was a member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Forest Hill Midtown Funeral Home in Memphis. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery.

Survivors include two brothers, Melvin Lovett and his wife, Jimmy, of Southaven, and Larry Lovett and his wife, Johnnye, of Corinth; two sisters, Carolyn Lyons and her husband, James, of Bartlett, Tenn., and Irma Ervin and her husband, Leadrow, of Millington, Tenn.; a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lovett; a son, Tommy Lovett; his parents, Sam and Carrie Lovett; and two brothers, Albert and Clifton Lovett.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

IUKA - Glenda Petty Lovette, 52, died Friday, July 9, 2004, at the North Miss. Medical Center in Tupelo. She was originally from the Pickwick, Tenn., area and was a former employee of the Tennessee Valley Regional Housing Authority in Corinth.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen with Bro. Tony Curtis and Bro. Jerry Lovette officiating. Burial will be in the Pisgah Cemetery in Shiloh, Tenn.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Lovette of Iuka; her parents, J. C. and Dorothy Petty of Bolivar, Tenn.; two sons, Jeff Stricklin of Counce, Tenn., and T. J. GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. - Presiding Elder Emeritus William O. Lowe, 49, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at his home. He was born in Lee County to the late Dr. J.O. Lowe and Duree Lowe. He joined Mt. Nebo CME Church at an early age and graduated from Baldwyn High School. He was a minister with the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in the Tennessee area.

CORINTH - Beatryce Shelton Lowery, 90, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at the Alcorn County Care Inn in Corinth. She was a native of Mississippi and a former resident of Red Bay, Ala. She was a retired office manager with Blue Bell Inc. in Red Bay after 40 years. She was a member of Kossuth Assembly Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carnie Lowery, in 1990.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay, Ala., with Bro. Mike Green officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

IUKA - Betty Kay Davis Lowery, 61, died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at the Iuka Hospital. She was a member of the Iuka Church of Christ, a former employee of the Iuka Shirt Company and a nurse's aide. She enjoyed singing for benefits and at nursing homes.

CAIRO - Elaine Lambert Lowery, 69, died Friday, Aug. 20, 1999, at her daughter's home in Memphis after a long illness. She was a former secretary and bookkeeper for Cotton Belt Underwriters Inc., Second Presbyterian Church and Wells Fargo Armed Services, all of Memphis.

She was a member of New Lebanon Freewill Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, choir member and church secretary. She was treasurer of the New Lebanon Cemetery Committee and a member of the Holcut/Cairo Garden Club.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at New Lebanon Freewill Baptist Church in Cairo with Bro. Steve Corbett officiating. Burial will be in New Lebanon Cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home of Booneville is in charge of the arrangements.

Hoyet W. Lowrey, 77, of the Cairo community, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville after a brief illness.

He was a construction superintendent with Allen O'Hara Con­struction in Memphis. He was a member of Forked Oak Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a 50­year member of the Robert G. Smith Lodge #412 in Paden, a mem­ber of the York and Scottish Rites, an active member of the Holcut Community Center and the Cairo Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Mary Lowrey; one sister, Ivy Holder; and two brothers, Roy and Edwin Lowrey.

Services were Saturday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. at New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Corbett and Bro. Ricky John­son officiating. Burial was in Forked Oak Cemetery. McMillan Fu­neral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Lowery, 57, died Saturday. Dec. 29, 2001, at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis as a result of bums received Oct. 30.

She was a member of Thrasher Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon and Sarah Lowery.

She is survived by two sisters, Gail Murphy of Booneville and Freeda Lowery of Tuscumbia, Ala.; two brothers, Ed Lowrey and Freeman Lowery, both of Booneville; and several nieces and nephews.

BOONEVILLE - William Roy Lowrey, 82, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He was a member of the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church where he had served as Church Clerk, and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the European Theater. He had served Prentiss County as Circuit Clerk and as Tax Assessor. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and 3014th Ordinance Company Association. He was a charter member of the Booneville Civitan Club and founder of the Prentiss County Rescue Squad. He was a Scoutmaster for 19 years, for which he was recognized with the Silver Beaver Award.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Ben Burcham and Elder Ricky Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Willese "Billie" Bullard Lowrey; one daughter, Beverly Burcham and her husband, Ben, of Booneville; two sons, Greg Lowrey and his wife, Kimber, of Booneville, and Mark Lowrey of Tampa, Fla.; four sisters, Marie Davis of Illinois, Justine Higgins of Memphis, Peggy Brewer of Cairo and Faye Green of Jackson; three brothers, his twin, Troy, Robert and Hoyt Lowrey, all of Cairo; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

SARA LOWREY

Sara Lowrey, 93, died Thursday, March 28, 1991, at the Cedars Health Center in Tupelo. She was a resident of Tupelo, and formerly lived in Greenville, South Carolina, and Waco, Texas. She was a graduate of Blue Mountain College. She received her M. A. Degree from Baylor University of Waco, Texas, and studied at the Central School of Speech and Dramatic Art in London, England. She served as a Professor of Speech and Chairman of the Speech Department at Baylor University and later held the same positions at Furman University.

She was an author of three hooks, "Interpretive Reading", "How Do You Say It'?" and "Theodosia Gift of God." She was a member of the American Association of University Professors, and was past president of the Greenville, S. C. League of Women Voters, first president of the Greenville, S. C., Area Action Council on Aging, a member of the Sierra Club, and was active in educational television programming.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Clinton Cemetery in Clinton. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include one brother, W. T. Lowrey Jr. of Tupelo; several nieces and nephews.

BERTHA LOWRY

Barba Beatrice Lowry F. died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Cedar's Health Center in Tupelo, after an extended illness. She was born Jan. 21, 1915, in Rodney, Jefferson County to the late John Webster and Edna Evie Flowers Ahrend. She was a graduate of Jefferson County Agricultural High School and received her nursing training at Charity Hospital in Vicksburg. She later received her physical therapy training at the Medical College of Virginia She joined the U. S. Navy Nurses Corps in 1941 and participating in the rescue operations at Pearl Harbor. During World War II and Korean conflict she served at medical facility in the Philippines and Japan after the war, worked at medical facility in Pennsylvania, Florida and Georgia. She retired service in 1953, receiving medals for her service and married Scott Lowry, who preceded her in death in 1975, she was employed as a nurse/physical therapist newly opened Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson. She moved to United Methodist Senior Service, Tupelo in 1993.

She was a member of Baptist Church of Jackson, she belonged to the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class. She was u world traveler, an avid reader and enjoyed crafts. Her life was devoted to ministering to other, at her request and to continue generosity of spirit, she donated her body to medical research at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 21, 2001, at St. Luke United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Hick brother in law, the Rev I officiating. Burial will be held date in the Ahrend Fan,, Union Church Cemetery s Count,, Lee Memorial Fu; is in charge of the arrangement

Survivors include he caregiver, Edna Ahrend her husband, Tom, of Tupelo, two nieces, Cheryl Sal son, Nev., and Louise H, of Warren, Ark.; five nephews, Martin Cupit of Tupelo, James Ahrend, of Vicksburg, C. E. "Edward" of  Brookhaven, Billy Ray Ahrend of Pattison and Tommy Ahrend several great and great and nephews.

She was preceded in died by her parents and her siblings, John Shirley Ahrend, Nancy Catherine Delaney, Charles Ahrend and two infant brothers.

NETTLETON - Fielder Perry "Larry" Lowry, 74, died suddenly Monday, June 16, 2003, at his home in Nettleton. He was born March 3, 1929, in Dell, Ark., to the late Charlie M. and Thelma McNight Lowry. He lived in Nettleton for 33 years, moving there from Amory. He was an agricultural aviator/cropduster, and the owner and operator of Lowry Flying Service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a Baptist, a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of the Mississippi Agricultural Aviation Association and a former Colonel on the staff of Gov. John Bell Williams. He enjoyed reading, hunting and flying.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scotty Kitchens officiating. Burial will be in the Veterans Garden of Lee Memorial Park.

Amy Agnes Loyd, 79 of Iuka, died Thursday, May 4, 2000 in Purcellville, VA at the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home.  Mrs. Loyd was born in Eupora, Ms, the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Fason.  She was a homemaker and a Baptist.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie C. Loyd.

Mrs. Loyd is survived by 3 sons: Arvie L. Loyd of Purcellville, VA; Harvey G. Loyd of Rosheron, Texas, Hugh O. Loyd of Vista, Ca.

Visitation will be 5 - 9 p.m. Sunday May 7, 2000.

PONTOTOC - Ricky Anthony Loyd, 50, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at his home in Pontotoc after a long illness. He was a former resident of Tupelo and a longtime resident of Pontotoc. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He owned and operated his own lawn and landscape service until becoming disabled. He enjoyed fishing.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues. Burial will be in the Priceville Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Janet Loyd of Pontotoc; two daughters, Jessica Bartlett and Jennifer Owens, both of Pontotoc; two sons, Tony Loyd of Wheeler and Jonathan Loyd of Pontotoc; two brothers, Tim Loyd of Saltillo and Jason Loyd of Olive Branch; his mother, Mae King of Pontotoc; his stepmother, Christine Loyd of Memphis; seven grandchildren.

Herschel Wayne "Buck" Lucy, 69, of Thrasher, died unexpectedly at his residence Tuesday, July 31, 2001.

Mr. Lucy was an insulation contractor and a member of Thrasher Baptist Church.

SAULSBURY, Tenn. - Monevia T. Luker, 80, died Sunday, June 8, 2003, at Pine Meadow Health and Rehab in Bolivar, Tenn. She was born in Hardeman County, Tenn., to the late Joe and Minnie Turner. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church. She loved to cook and she loved everyone. She was a retired waitress for the Holiday Inn of Corinth.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the McPeters Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Sells officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh Baptist Cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, David Luker of Saltillo, Benny Luker of Middleton, Tenn., and Kenneth Luker of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; two daughters, Sandra Shelby and Debra Key Glidewell, both of Saulsbury, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Minnie Turner; one son, Walter Luker; her husband, Chalmer Luker; and a granddaughter, Tonya Luker.

Pallbearers will b Kevin Luker, Kenneth Luker, Mike White, Glenn Turner, John Turner, Jimmy Caviness, Derek Glidewell and Larry Keller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Glisson, Johnny Thompson and Nickey Thompson.

DAKOTA LUZADER

BALDWYN - Dakota Michael Lee Luzader, infant son of Robert and Laurie Bass Luzader of Baldwyn, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at the North Mississippi Medical Center's Women's Hospital in Tupelo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Waters Funeral Home. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents; a sister, Tamara Bedford and her husband, Mark, of Baldwyn; two brothers, Blake Cardany and Robbie Luzader of Baldwyn; his grandparents, Daisy Bass of Baldwyn, Robert and Teresa Luzader of Atlanta, Ga.; an aunt, Judy Peel of Baldwyn; an uncle, Michael Bass of Baldwyn; several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Bass, and his great-grandmother, Lela Stone.

TRESA LYONS

Tresa Lyons, 48, of Booneville passed away on June 26, 2018. Funeral services were held on June 29. Burial followed in the Abury Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Cortie Jackson, Chloe Lyons, and Robert Lyons all of Booneville; two sisters; one brother; two grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Junior Cooper and Anita June Ware; two sisters; and one brother.

GEORGE LYNCH

BELMONT - George William Lynch, 83, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 1997, at the Haleyville Health Care Center in Haleyville, Ala. He was a native of Alabama, a retired farmer and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Willard Lynch.

Services will be at 2 pm. today at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with the Rev. Tom Scott officiating. Burial will be In Joel Cemetery in Dennis.

Survivors Include four daughters, Jane Credille of Boothwyn, Pa., Faye Yawn of Phil Campbell, Ala., Judy Lulus of Hamilton, Ala., and Marie Bishop of Sheffield, Ala.; four sons, Dexter Lynch of Fulton, Harold Lynch of Red Bay, Ala., Sherman Lynch of Phil Campbell, Ala., and William Lynch of Belmont; one sister, Arbell Jones of Iuka; 20 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.

J.D. LYNCH

IUKA - J.D. Lynch, 80, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at his home. He was a deacon at New Salem Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. He had a special love of children and will be warmly remembered by many as the "Gum Man."

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at New Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Bell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is in charge of the arrangements,

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marie Lynch of Iuka; two sons, William Douglas Lynch and wife, Susie, of Jackson, Tenn., and Calvin Ray Lynch and wife, Judy, of New Orleans; two sisters-in-law, Jewel Marlar Lynch and Lorine Lynch; four grandchildren, Jennifer Wood and husband, Brian, Denise Lynch, Shane Lynch and wife, Lindsey, and Kristina Lynch.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson Davis and Ella Lynch; three brothers, Bill, Carl and Frank Lynch; a sister, Ruby Austin; and a son, Elmer Davis Lynch.

Pallbearers will be Gary "Doc" Austin, Rufus Austin, Jerry Locke, Norman Locke, Robert Locke and Danny Lynch.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of New Salem Baptist Church.

JAMES W. LYNCH

DENNIS - James W. "Saw Miller" Lynch, 62, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at the Red Bay Hospital. He was a retired auto mechanic and loved hunting, fishing and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at the New Life Church with Bro. Daryl Burcham officiating. Burial will be in the Lindsey Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Synch; one daughter, Carol Kent and husband, Larry, of Golden; three sons, Jimmy Lynch and wife, Karen, Donnie Lynch and wife, Peggy, and William Lynch and wife, Sonya, all of Dennis; two brothers, Paul Lynch and David Lynch; two sisters, Sue Sparks and Shirley Freeman; four grandchildren, Christopher, Amber, Hayli and Jacob; three great-grandchildren, Madison, Gavin and Garrett; six stepgrandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.

OLA MAE LYNCH

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Ola Mae Briley Lynch, 97, formerly of Corinth, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at the Primary Health Care Service in Memphis. She was a member of the Whitehaven United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister-in-law, Donna Bell Briley; and one brother, Bruce Briley.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the McPeters Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Hankins officiating. Burial will be in the Henry Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Wallace Francis Lynch of Memphis; one brother, A.T. Briley of Columbus; her sister-in-law, Eugenia Lynch Wait of Corinth; two nephews, Bob Lynch of Memphis and tom Briley of Rural Retreat, Va.; four nieces, Betty Lynch Ashcroft of Corinth, Frances Lynch Frazier of Glendale, Ariz., Linda Briley Stout of Morgan Hill, Calif., and Jan Lynch of Memphis.

WALLACE LYNCH

MEMPHIS - Wallace Francis Lynch, 102, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at Primacy Healthcare and Rehab in Memphis. He was the retired manager of the Mills Morris Machine Shop. A highly skilled technical expert, he began his professional career in the steam engine era and built his reputation as an expert in internal combustion engines. He helped many veterans returning from World War II by providing them a career start and a way to support their families. He also enjoyed making and designing items for people. He was a member of Whitehaven United Methodist Church in Memphis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel in Corinth with the Rev. Frank Burton officiating. Burial will be in Henry Cemetery.

Survivors include a sister, Eugenia Lynch Waits of Corinth; a nephew, Bob Lynch of Memphis; two nieces, Betty Ashcraft of Corinth and Frances Frazier of Glendale, Ariz.; a great-niece, Jan Lynch of Memphis; a brother-in-law, A.T. Briley of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Mae Briley Lynch, in March 2003; his parents, John and Betty Lynch; and four brothers, Robert H. Lynch, LeRoy Lynch, Johnny Lynch and Garvin Lynch.

Memory of A. B. Lytal

            On Friday morning April 12th at 4 o'clock the death angel crept into our home and claimed for its victim our beloved husband and father and grandfather. His stay here on earth just liked a few days being seventy years, but still we ware not ready to give him up. He had been in failing health for several years but was bed fast for only a few days before God called him away.

            He was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Dear father was a friend to all who know him and loved by all.

            He leaves a heart broken wife, several grand children besides other ones he was so dear to, to grieve over his passing.

Weep not dear ones For he is not gone, He is waiting with tile, angels, around the white throng.

His place is silent, His voice is still,

His chair is vacant is our home, Which can never be filled. But some day we will meet him. On the other shore, Where God says, "Come children, Ye shall weep 110 more."

BENSON LYTAL

BALDWYN   Benson Comely Lytal, 25, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at his home He was a 1994 graduate of Baldwyn High School. He attended Northeast Mississippi Community College. He was a member of Baldwyn First Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Terry Cutter and Dr. Gayle Alexander officiating Burial will be in the Baldwyn Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Benny and Connie Lytal of Baldwyn; his grandmothers, Nona W. Lytal of Baldwyn and Willie Francis Rutherford of Baldwyn; a brother, Blake Lytal of Baldwyn; two uncles, Kenny Lytal and his wife, Debbie, and Rusty Rutherford, all of Baldwyn: four cousins, Lacy Rutherford, Landon Rutherford, Brian Lytal and his wife, Tracy, and Paige Lem; several cousins.

            He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harless and Betty Rutherford, and George Lytal.

LIZZIE LYTAL

BOONEVILLE - Lizzie Stennett Lytal, 86, died Thursday, June 12, 1997, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a homemaker, a member of Mt. Pisgah Freewill Baptist Church and the widow of Edward Lytal Sr.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glen Jones officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Inez Norwood of Memphis and Sara Martic of Booneville; three sons, Walter Lytal of Cookville, Tenn., Edward Lytal Jr. of Memphis and Billy Lytal of Booneville; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Doug Lytal, Steve Lytal, Matt Barrett, Mitch Barrett, Clint Green and Benny Stennett.

STANLEY LYTAL

            BALDWYN   Stanley Lytal, 83, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, and an inactive deacon and member of Baldwyn First Baptist Church.

            Services were Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Waters Funeral Chapel with Bro Gayle Alexander officiating. Burial was in Pratt Cemetery.

            Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Paula Farrar Lytal of Baldwyn; two daughters, Betty Billingsley of Tupelo and Debbie Arnold and husband, Danny, of Baldwyn, one son, Bobby Lytal and wife, Cheryl, of Tupelo; a sister, Lure Malone of Baldwyn; a brother, Max Lytal of Baldwyn; four grandchildren, Lee Billingsley, Ann Byrd, Allison Carnathan and Daniel Arnold; and three wage Mary Page  Billingsley, MiaLee Billingsley and Braden Carnahan.

            Pallbearers were Marry Lytal, Glen Lytal, Kenny Lytal, Benny Lytal, Max Stephens, Buddy Rushing, Gerald Rushing and 8111 Hinds.

            Honorary pallbearers were the coffee club of Sissy's Restaurant. 

VICKEY LYTAL

Vickey Lynn Lytal, 43, of Memphis, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis after an extended illness.

Services were Saturday, Aug. 18, at 1 p.m. in the state room at McMillan Funeral Home. Burial was in Booneville Cemetery.

Ms. Lytal was a member of Willow Oaks Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willo Dean Johnson Lytal.

She is survived by her father, Edward Lytal of Memphis; and one brother, Tommy Lee Lytal of Olive Branch.

WILLA DEAN LYTAL

Willa Dean Lytal, 68, of Memphis, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at her home after an extended illness.

A private stateroom service was held at McMillan Funeral Home Saturday, Oct. 23, at 1 p.m. Burial was in Booneville Cemetery.

Mrs. Lytal was a housewife and a member of Willow Oaks Pentecostal Holiness in Memphis. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Frank Woods.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Lytal Jr.; one daughter, Vickey Lytal of Memphis; one son, Tommy Lytal, of Olive Branch; four sisters, Helen White of Southaven, Sue Moody of Corinth, Tauia Smith of Booneville, and Ester Mae Hatfield of Corinth; and one brother, Curtis Johnson of Michie, Tenn.
