More About Us

Goals

To save, for our children, a glimpse into the past, of their forebears, that they will know from what manner stock they came.  We share with our children a tie to those undaunted pioneers, of all nations, creeds, races and cultures; those men and women, who braved incredible odds in an untamed land, in their search for freedom, thrown together and molded by war, famine, disease and pestilence to become one people of Neshoba county.

Cemetery Book
Theresa Rideout says the reprinting of the 1987 publication Neshoba County Cemeteries
will be published later this year.  She has done an excellent job in canvassing the old cemeteries throughout the county.  She has identified many graves that were listed in the previous publication as "tombstone unreadable" and has included all known persons who have been buried in the county since the first edition.  Also, many error corrections have been made.  I will notify everyone as soon as possible of the release date so we may take advantage of the pre-pub price.  This book will be a complete work, not just an update.
