The Ferrill Cemetery is located west of Robinson Cemetery, west of Wemberly Street on the west side of Highway 613 in Escatawpa, Mississippi in Section 9, Township 7, Range 6. It was primarily the Ferrill Family Cemetery until the time before World War I and it then became a community cemetery. Many of the families were associated with the Latter Day Saint Cemetery until they established another cemetery. The original Ferrill cemetery was land donated by John Wesley Ferrill, a Methodist minister, who found the 1st Methodist Church in Escatawpa, about 1854. Issac Roberts added to the cemetery area in 1916. Source: Harry H. McDonald, JCGS
