TUESDAY, January 15, 1850.

The following petitions, memorials, and other papers, were laid on the Clerk's table, under the 24th rule of the House, to wit: 
By Mr. McWillie: The petition of D. O. Williams, of Clinton, in the State of Mississippi, praying for the establishment of a mail route from Tallula Court House to Powelville.

Journal of the Senate of the United States of America, 1789-1873
FRIDAY, March 20, 1868.

The President pro tempore laid before the Senate the memorial of A. J. Donelson and Minor Meriwether, in behalf of the board of the levee commissioners of the counties of Bolivar, Washington, and Issaquena, Mississippi, praying the aid of Congress in rebuilding the levee of the Yazoo basin of the Mississippi valley; which was referred to the Committee on Commerce.

Journal of the Senate of the United States, 43rd Congress, 1st session
MONDAY, June 15, 1874.

Mr. Alcorn presented a memorial of the board of levee commissioners of Bolivar, Washington, and Issaquena Counties, Mississippi, and a memorial of the board of engineers of Louisiana, asking aid in the reconstruction of the levees of the Mississippi River; which were referred to the Select Committee on the Levees of the Mississippi River.
