Harrison County, MSGenWeb

What's New?

Harrison County was formed in 1841 from Hancock, Jackson, and Perry Counties. It was named for William Henry Harrison. Although the county suffered some record loss in 1916, there are marriage and land records available from 1841 and probate records from 1853. The county seat is Gulfport.
