Roxie was formed as a shipping point on the Y & M V Railroad in 1886. The railroad was a big part of life in Roxie for many years. When the railroad left, most of the people did too!  But we still have a few folks here, and we are really happy to have you visit our little town. So grab a cup of coffee or a glass of iced tea, kick your shoes off, sit down on the porch swing and visit a spell!
