May 31, 2008 - Added  History of Claiborne County, Claiborne County in the Mexican War, Port Gibson in the News in 1855, Claiborne County News in the 1800's and a wonderful description of School Days in Claiborne County by Sue Moore's grandmother plus a wonderful photo of her grandmother's Family.  All of the above contributed by Sue B. Moore.  Sue has also expanded the Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1878 to include other years.

July 9, 2003 - added several obits to the Obituaries page.  These were contributed by a researcher earlier but I lost them AND the person's name!  I found them today and would appreciate it if anyone knows who contributed these Anderson, Stampley, Norwood, Hudson, etc. obituaries, please let me know!

 

April 1, 2003 - added Oakland College Page with history of the college and also a curriculum of studies contributed by Charles Dawkins.  also added The Horrid Tragedy, an Editorial from the Port Gibson Herald about the death of Dr. Jeremiah Chamberlain, President of Oakland College.

 

November 4, 2002 - We have a new project for Claiborne County called "Claiborne County Family Group Sheet Project"!  You may submit as many sheets as you wish, however, I must request please follow the guidelines.  NO Living! 

 

October 27, 2002 - Added Claiborne County Marriage Project and

Beech Grove Baptist Church Page with photos and membership rolls.  Also added a new page, "Remember When?".
