CLARISSA "EVELYN" JAMES

Clarissa Evelyn James, Reed's Spring, MO departed this life July 8, 2001 in Ozark Mountain Regional Healthcare Center, Crane at the age of 80 years. She was the daughter of Charles Harvey and Bertha May (Tilden) Butler and was born October 9, 1920 in Reed's Spring, MO. Evelyn was a retired factory worker and a lifelong resident of the area. Survivors include one daughter Shirley James of Reed's Spring; one brother Tommy Butler of Reed's Spring and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, in Stumpff Chapel-South, Kimberling City with Johnny Holt and Joe Dan Edwards officiating. Burial was in Yocum Pond Cemetery under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-South, Kimberling City. (From a clipping - no identified source).
