NANCY LEEANN DONMEYER

Funeral services for Nancy LeeAnn Gore Davis Donmeyer. Nancy LeeAnn was born Dec. 26, 1871 in Stone County Missouri she moved to Oklahoma in 1901, and died March 1957 in Wellston, Okla.She was the daughter of James Gore and Izane Pitts of Stone County Mo. James Gore is burried in the Nickerson Cem. just North of Kimberling City, Mo., and Izane Pitts is burried at Owens Cem. near Hill City.

Nancy LeAnn married James T. Davis on Sep. 27, 1889 in Stone County Mo. She is survived by her daughters Maudie Davis Osborne (born in Stone Co.), Minnie Davis Turner Fine (also born in Stone Co. Mo., 1898), Bessie Davis Dodson, Annie Elizabeth Davis Waters Goddard, and her five sons, Charlie Davis, Willie Davis, Alfred Davis, George Davis, and Roy Davis. One sister, Mary Frances Gore Martin of Galena, Mo., and three brothers, Henry Gore, Tom Gore, and Jesse Gore. One step-son, Carl Gore and one step-daughter, Ella Gore.

Services were held Sunday in the Wellston, Okla. Baptist Church with Rev. C.L. Mills officiating, assited by Harold Pough and Rev. Kenneth Thomas. Internment in Rossville cemetery with Mills Funeral Home of Wellston in charge of arrangements. (Submitted by [email protected])
