This occured sometime in the middle 1920s. The property on which the cemetery was located was owned originally by the Mayberry family. Two of the tombstones from the cemetery were located. Travel 1/2 miles to near edge of the hills,turn left on the private lane,then travel 1/4 mile (including� crossing on a dam impounding what is known locally "Lyman's Lake,")to the cemetery site at the north end of the dam.(Access by permission only.) This was once a large cemetery,with many markers,some large. All markers diappeared during the time of World War II. The dam was built after World War II. No names relating to burials are recalled.This name was selected because the Possum Ridge(Chlolinger) schoolhouse. now gone,was located about 1/4 mile north by west.(Information by Glenn Dunlap and others.)
