Cantwell Missouri
CANTWELL
Cantwell was organized by H. J. Cantwell, the president of the St. Francois
Town-Site and Mining Company. The survey was made in 1900 by Ben M. Griffith, a civil
engineer. This company reserved all rights to mineral deposits in the town.
