Class of 1920
BONNE TERRE HIGH SCHOOL
Bonne Terre, Missouri.
The twenty-ninth Annual Commencement of the
Bonne Terre High School was held Thursday evening, May 13th, in the
Lyceum. Eight young folks, two boys and six girls, completed the
high school course. They were: Blanche Iva Rawson,
Valedictorian, Edna Grace Degonia, Salutatorian, Barton Olin Belknap,
Orator, Lorraine Varne Mahn, Essayist, Effie May Counts, Robert Hugh
Addis, Nellie Elizabeth Williams and Mabel Augusta Fite.
The class address was made by Dean Walter Williams of the Missouri State University School of Journalism and was a most excellent speech, holding before these pupils and all others who were privileged to hear it, a very high ideal to attain.
