BEAUTY ACADEMY GRADUATES
TAKE STATE EXAMINATIONS
Violet Mitchell, proprietor of the Missouri Beauty Academy in Farmington, took ten
graduates to St. Louis Sunday where they spent until Tuesday taking the State Board
examination.
In the group were Geraldine Koester, Melba McDaniel and Dorothy Hill, Farmington; Ida
Mae McClanahan, Nora Mae Dillard and Norma Ruth Ira, Desloge; Dorothy Compton and Wilma
Bone, Frankclay; Leona Thompson, Perryville; and Irene Cozean, Marquand.
All are employed in beauty shops. The Farmington school bears the fine record of having
all of its graduates passed by the state board.
