Hedgcorths celebrate 50th

Paul and Marlene Hedgcorth celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 16, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Park Hills. They were united in marriage July 27, 1956 at the Leadwood First Baptist Church of God by Rev. John Robert Bleckler. Paul's twin sister, Pauline and her husband were attendants.

Numerous friends and relatives enjoyed a luncheon buffet served by their children and grandchildren, daughter Lisa (Walter) Major of Bonne Terre, sons, Scott (Susan) Hedgcorth of Desloge and Steven Hedgcorth of Desloge and grandchildren, Kristin (Andrew) Guthrie, Brittany Hedgcorth, Molly and Megan Hedgcorth and Daniel and Michael Eaton.

Before retirement Marlene was employed by North County R-1 School District as a school nurse. Paul retired from the Doe Run Company. The couple enjoyed visiting family and friends. Paul spends his spare time hunting and fishing. Marlene keeps busy with church and volunteer work.
