BURNS - KENNON
The Lead Belt News, Flat River, Mo., Friday, July 2, 1943

     Miss Hilda Kennon, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kennon and Earl Burns, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Burns, both of Esther, were united in marriage, Saturday evening, June 26th at the home of the officiating minister, Rev. R. L. Shell of Bismarck, Baptist Missionary for Franklin and Jefferson Associations.

     They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bess and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Martin, both couples being recently married.  Mr. and Mrs. Bess were their attendants.

     Mrs. Burns chose for her wedding a dress of white sheer with white accessories.  Mrs. Bess wore pink sheer with white accessories.

     Mr. and Mrs. Burns are graduates of Esther High School, class of 1943, and she is employed in her father's store in Esther and Mr. Burns is employed by the Pyramid Roofing Company of Esther.  They are popular young people in their community and are receiving congratulations from their many friends for a happy and prosperous wedded life.
