The remains of Jackson Stewart, 27 years old who had died in action in France during the late war, were buried with full military honors at Bismarck, Sunday afternoon, members of the different posts of the American Legion throughout the county, having taken part in the ceremony.
The young man was 27 years old, at the time of his death, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Stewart of Bismarck. A peculiar coincidence in connection with this death is the fact that Mr. and Mrs. Stewart had four sons to die within a period of 17 months, the other three having died from natural causes. They have one son and three daughters yet living.
The funeral service for young Stewart was held at the Bismarck Baptist Church, at 1:30 o'clock by Rev. William England. Interment was made in the Odd Fellow Cemetery near Bismarck.
