The following was published in the Farmington News,
December 27, 1918:

IN MEMORIAM

In memory of our dear son and brother, Coleman P. Frazier,
who was killed in action in France, September 27, 1918.

OUR GOLDEN STAR.

One golden star on the field of blue
Shines in our window, the long night through,
'Tis the sign of our hero, who for God and the right,
Fought a good fight against the forces of Might.

Coleman fought for our country - for you and for me,
He fought and he died to keep us free.
To our God in heaven, we offer this prayer,
May he rest in peace, in God's care.

In France's fields, where the poppies blow,
Our dear one and brother sleeps, and we love him so!
But we will cheer with the rest when the boys return,
And in our hearts the love fires burn.

In France, in summer, the poppies blow;
But now, all covered with shroud of snow,
Our dear one lies sleeping, rest his soul in peace,
From the world's grim conflict he has won release.

And we hope with faith, and trust, and love,
That our Father in Heaven from His home above
Will bless our boy for work he has done,
And will care for our dear Brother and Son.

Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Frazier and daughters.
