FLAT RIVER MASONS INSTALL

Elvins lodge No. 599, A.F. and A.M., installed the following officers at their regular meeting last evening:

William Howell -- worshipful master.
Lon Swearingen -- senior warden.
Dave M. Morgan -- junior warden.
W. A. McGraw -- secretary.
W. C. Norwine -- treasurer.
Walter Bouchard -- senior deacon.
Jesse Freeman -- junior deacon.
A. C. Norwine -- chaplain.
John Creigh -- tyler.
T. J. Buckner -- senior steward.
Arthur Freeman -- junior steward.

Several visitors were present and made excellent talks. The retiring master, Charles R. Pratt, was presented with a genuine leather traveling bag by the lodge for his untiring efforts during the past year. Through his leadership, several things were accomplished, the outstanding accomplishment being the new building, of which Flat River is justly proud.
