On March 2, 2008, Freda Henderson celebrated her 100th birthday with family and
friends at Roseners Restaurant in Park Hills.
The guests of nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends were treated to smorgasbord, cake,
ice cream and coffee.
Freda was born in Madison County and spent most of her life in Park Hills.
She was married to Otto Henderson on November 2, 1929 for 67 years. They had three
children, Ted (Cece) of Oak Harbor, Wash., Pat (Lou) Zackavis of Kalamazoo, Md. and Hilda
Henderson of Park Hills.
Her children and two grandsons, David Henderson of Seattle, Wash. and Mike Henderson of
Poctello, Idaho hosted the party.
Freda has four great grandchildren and they visited her last summer.
She received many nice gifts and enjoyed her day. She also received a congratulations from
the President and Mrs. Bush and Willard Scott of NBC.
