DR. McGINNIS
DIED AT BISMARCK HOME |
Dr. McGinnis, who has been a resident of Bismarck for a number of years, arose about his usual hour Tuesday morning and went into the garden. His wife, a few minutes later, looked in that direction and failed to see him. Members of the family immediately went in search of him and found his body where he had fallen, death having been almost instant. Dr. Gale was called and stated that death was the result of a heart attack which may possibly have been aggravated by the extreme heat. However, it was brought out that several of Dr. McGinnis' family had met death in a similar manner.
Dr. McGinnis has been a resident of Bismarck for a number of years, practicing his profession of medicine there until a few years ago. Due to failing eye sight several years since he gave up his profession and took up other lines of work in which his weakened vision would not endanger others. He was a highly successful practitioner, a polished gentleman, a devout church worker and an ardent worker for all things for the betterment of his home community. He leaves a wife and a large family. We extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved ones.
