ARCHIBALD P. CHAPMAN (1846-1929)

Co. E, 155th Indiana Infantry

Archibald was the son of Nathan and Emily Jane (Reed) Chapman. They married sometime about 1830 in Cattaraugus County, New York. They lived in Hamilton Co., Indiana and Bourbon Co., Kansas, before moving to St. Clair County after 1870 census. Nathan and Emily are both buried in Bear Creek Cemetery, St. Clair County, Missouri. Archibald was born 28 December 1846 Indiana, and died 12 February 1929 Osceola, St. Clair Co., Missouri. Archibald is buried in Osceola Cemetery. He never married.
