Currently available is a 700 page (double sided pages) book entitled

Cemeteries of Stoddard County, Missouri 1839-1992"

This book contains names, dates of birth, dates of death, and at times, relatives and military records as found on the cemetery tombstone. The cemetery listings are in alphabetical order, however, within the cemetery, names are kept together (not alphabetical) so that families can be kept together. Husband and wife, or more than one name on a single tombstone, are marked with an *.

Other information is given at the beginning of the book such as what the various abbreviations stand for and there is an alphabetical index.

It contains a brief history of 10 towns in Stoddard County in the early years and pictures.
It also has 100 plus family histories, written by a family member prior to 1985 giving some genealogy plus many other tidbits of interest such as how to make dandelion wine!!

This book contains names and dates of people married in Stoddard County, organized by indexes in alphabetical order by man's name, wife's name, date married, volume and page number where it can be located in the Recorder of Deeds office. An index showing wife's name first is also included.

This book is 8 1/2 X 11 and has 250 pages.  The supplement is included and they sell for $30 including P & H.   postage and handling. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of this book is donated to the Stoddard County Historical Society.  Checks to be made to the Historical Society.   The alphabetized image above does not appear clear, but is clear in the book.

"A History of the Rural Schools in Stoddard County, Mo"
This book contains many pictures and names and histories of the Rural schools once found in Stoddard County.

It includes interviews with
teachers who were currently living,

This is a very unique book.

"Stoddard Grays-"

This book includes the names of over 700 Stoddard Countians who served in Missouri State Guard, Confederate Service or both. Proceeds from this book will be used to help maintain the Confederate Memorial Cemetery at Bloomfield, Missouri.   This book sells for $11.50 total.
