I'm trying to sind parents of Sarah SLOAN who married Henry H. SADLER ..
approximately 1847 in Stoddard County. I have 4 children for this couple,
but wonder if there are more... The children I show are Thomas Jefferson
Sadler (born 1847); John M. Sadler (b. abt 1850); Martha Sadler (b. about
1854) and Sarah E. Sadler (b abt 1855). Thomas Jefferson Sadler and
his wife Louisa CLAYTOn are my gg grandparents. Thanks!

I am looking for the family
history on my mother's side. My mother, Mary Jane Townsend, nee Sanders,
was born in Stoddard County, Mo on oct. 22, 1896. Her Father's name was
Robert Hugh Sanders and her mother's name was Arizona Thomas. I know
that her mother was an Indian from the Miami tribe (Ohio) My
grandmother, Mary, passed away in 1984. She married Henry Townsend,
although I do not know a location or date. Any information on Mary's
birth, the marriage or her parents...anything at all would help.

Looking for info on Samuel S.
Sanders born about 1826 in Dubois County, Indiana. He married Sela(Cela)
Harmon born about 1832 also form Dubois County, Indiana. They were listed
as living in Dubois County in 1870 census and listed as living in
Stoddard County, MO in 1880 census. They were living in Liberty. Their
children that moved with them to MO were Jacob abt 1861, Henry abt 1863,
Emily abt 1866, Joseph abt 1868, James abt 1869 and Amanda abt 1873. Any
info on them will be greatly appreciated.

Thomas Simmermon b.5 Feb 1827 in Habersham Co., GA. He was son of Jacob
Simmermon and Lucinda McCallom. He married Mary Hill in 1852. He started
a pottery business in Stoddard Co., MO and was well known for it. His
kids were as follows:
Lucinda, Harrison, Lucy, Benton, Edward, Dora, Mary (aka Mattie), Martha
(aka Molly), Robert and John. If anyone can help me find out more on
these families please contact me.
