Jeremiah Caviness and wife Martha Kirk, parents of Maude Ann Caviness wife of Lacey Morrison.
Martha was born to Joseph and Rhoda Peck Caviness December 5, 1864, also in Henry County, Iowa.
Jeremiah and Martha married April 23, 1878 in Henry County. When Maude Ann was only 5 months old,
Martha died April 13, 1891 and is buried in Lambirth Cemetery in Henry County.
Maude is shown in the 1900 Appanoose County, Iowa census as a foster daughter in the
John D. and Eliza J. Winecup household, likely placed there by the State of Iowa.
