A very early picture of Conrad's sister-in-law, Joanna Dooley Tharp. She was the daughter
of Henry Dooley and Sarah Copher and married Conrad's brother Augustus Milton Tharp on
April 21, 1852 in her parent's home in Davis County, Iowa. She and Augustus had
10 children, 7 girls and 3 boys. Augustus and Joanna are both buried in the Dooley
Cemetery near Mark in Davis County.
This photo is used with permission of the owner, Becky Godby. It belonged to her
g grandmother Bessie Spurgeon Horn who, in turn, was the granddaughter of Augustus Milton Tharp.
