Christena Evelyn Tharp was last born child of Abner Tharp and Sarah Moots.
Born July 18, 1851 in Wyacondah Township, Davis County, Iowa, she married James Ayers
Smith December 1, 1869 in Davis County (they are pictured above).
They moved to Saunders County, Nebraska and it was at their home in Wahoo where
sister Martha died of typhoid fever. They moved to Ogden, Weber County, Utah.
Mother Sarah Moots Tharp lived with them in Ogden until she died on March 8, 1905.
James Ayers Smith was a business professor at Smith Business College.
