Court (Courtney) C. Frakes, husband of Malissa Evaline Tharp.
He was born May 7, 1872 in Dallas County, Iowa to Samuel Monroe and Mary Vance Frakes.
He and Malissa were parents to two children. He was a farmer, and later in life
he was a salesman of livestock tonic. He died February 13, 1946 at his home
in Moulton, Appanoose County, Iowa.

g grandmother Bessie Spurgeon Horn who, in turn, was the granddaughter of Augustus Milton Tharp.
