I am trying to get information about Louisa Jane ODELL, who lived circa 1850 - 1910. Another geneology website lists her husband as a Thomas PILES, and her parents as Richard and Lavinia PILES who are also Thomas' parents. I am a direct descendant of Ferbie Ann PILES, and am trying to prove a direct relation to Henry ODELL. All of the above lived in Reynolds Co. If you have any information that would help me solve this puzzle, I would appreciate it.

I have recently acquired a photograph of six JOHNSON brothers. They were the sons of Henry Samuel & Winny JOHNSON. There were actually seven sons; William S., Samuel, Meredith Jackson "Jack," John Madison, Jefferson Davis, Henry Lee, and Richard T. Three have been identified: Henry Lee (my grandfather), William S., and Meredith Jackson. The other three we don't know. Researching Holmes and Carty. Samuel Holmes married Mary Ann Carty in Reynolds County 19 Feb. 1880. Was Mary Ann the daughter of Lafayette Carty? Rosabelle is listed as dau of Lafayette in 1870 census. Rosabelle and Mary Ann were married the same day by Samuel Black.

I am trying to find the marriage date of Samuel W. Kyle and Mary Alice Kohn. According to one researcher, who posted data at Ancestry.com, they married in Reynolds County on Oct. 15, 1872. However, he also states that their first child was born about 21 months before that, on Feb. 11, 1871.
I tried to contact that researcher, Henry Osiek, but his e-mail address is no longer good. I have searched all of the marriages posted on this site, and theirs is not listed. So I have to wnder if that date is correct and where it was found.
Two of Mary alice's borthers did marry in Reynolds County, and their parents did live there. So maybe she did marry there. I am doing this research for a very dear cousin, and I do not want to tell her something that I can't prove.
I hope someone out there knows more about this and is willing to share and collaborate with me. I have a lot of KOHN research that I would glady share. Thanks!

To Whom it May Concern: I am searching for JOhn D. Lambert and Jerusha Johnston, I know they are buried in the Chapman/Chatman Cemetery, as their daughter (my g-grandmother) Dora Ragan.

Dora Lambert/Ragan is my grandfather's mother, it is important for me to find information, my grandfather raised me, so he is very special to me as is his family background.
