Looking for info on THOMAS HUGHS or HUGHES B. 1877 married to CORA L. HUGHES B. 1881. Found them on the Arkansas 1900 Census for Hot Springs, Midway Twsp. thru LDS. Found them again in 1920 Reynolds Co. Mo. Census. In 1920 census Thomas is widowed and has these children: CORA L. b.1903, (Cora married Milton Radford abt. 1920, Lived in Radford Hollow on Black River close to Centervile,Mo.) VIRGINIA b. 1904. ROBERT ELDER,wife Sallie/Sarah Lanham Elder moved to Reynolds county , Mo sometime after 1883, as my grandfather (Roberts son)Green Berry Elder was born in Kentucky in 1883. Robert's wife and children are listed on the 1900 census of Reynold's co. I am trying to find out if Jesse Elder and Mary Ellen Lanham Elder are his parents,they are from Casey & Pulaskey co Kentucky. Robert was born in Kentucky married Sallie Lanham in 1864 in Kentucky, he died and is burried in Black, Mo Brown cemetery. Frederick M. Bowen b. July 1878, married Easter Caroline Rosa 3 Apr. 1901, Reynolds Co., Missouri. She died young..probably about 1903 ..Need to know when she died, and where she is buried. Caroline was the only daughter of Frank and Fanny Jordan Rosa, and the oral history is that she and Frederick had one small child when she was caught in a blizzard and died. I want to find the ______ Bowen child...and his/her descendants. I want to find Frederick too, if he survived. Any Bowens out there?? Contact [email protected]

I am interested in connecting with descendants of William Anderson Tucker and Elizabeth (Smith) Tucker. His known children are: 1) Mahala Ann TUCKER, who married William Riley UNDERWOOD. They had 10 children. They lived in Dent Co and also in Dunklin County. 2)John TUCKER, who married Martha ROBINSON. They were listed as being the parents of 15 children (of which only 7 were left living) on the 1900 census. They lived in the Flatwoods area of Iron Co. and are buried in the Pilot Knob Cemetery. 3)William Carroll TUCKER who married 1)Mahala Ann JOHNSON (d/o of William JOHNSON and Mary (SCHULTZ) JOHNSON. He married 2) Catherine (HARRISON)GOFORTH or (GOFORTH)HARRISON and 3)Nancy GLOVER nee_____. He and his family lived in the Piedmont, Wayne County, MO. William had 14 children. The first 5 were by his first wife and the last 9 were by his second wife. 4.Sarah Elizabeth (TUCKER), who married Robert Nathan "Bobby" MARTIN. "Bobby" and Sarah MARTIN lived in the Taum's Creek area of Reynolds Co. They had 8 children. She is buried in the TUCKER/ESTEP Cemetery on Taum's Creek near Bunker, Reynolds County, MO. He is buried in the Callahan Cemetery in Northern Reynolds Co., MO. 5.Malinda Jane TUCKER, who married Thomas Porter LANE. They lived in the Cabool area of Texas Co. MO. They are buried in the Hamilton Cemetery in Texas County, MO. They may have lived in Reynolds County for a time. There are some land records that they are on there. They had 8 children. 6.George TUCKER (may have died young. On 1850 census at age 8 but not on 1860 census). He would have been 18 by this time, so may have been out of the household. I am interested in finding information on George. If you have a stray George TUCKER who was born circa 1842 and lived in this area, I would definitely be interested. 7.Andrew Jackson "Jack" TUCKER, who married 1) Sarah Luetishey ASHER. He married next to MRS. Georgia ALBERTSON. His children were by Luetishey. They had 8 children. They lived in Reynolds and Dent Counties. He is buried in the Walker Cemetery near Vichy, Maries County, MO. 8.Jasper Newton TUCKER, who married 1) Rebecca Martella WILLIAMS; 2)Eliza J. LEWIS and 3) Sarah J. WOOD. He had 10 children. The first 8 were by his first wife and the last 2 were by his second wife. He lived mostly in Dent Co. He died in Walla Walla, Washington. William Anderson TUCKER had 2 children by his second wife, Mary Elizabeth (JENKINS) SPRAGUE/NASH. She married a John LONG after W.A.'s death and moved to Texarkana, AR with two of her sons, Archelaus "Archie" NASH and James Henry TUCKER. William Anderson and Mary had the following children: 9.James Henry TUCKER married 1) Delia JOHNSON and 2) Ruby (WHITE)DYER. He had 16 children. The first 12 were by Delia. The last 4 were by Ruby. This family lived in Louisiana, Reynolds Co. MO and some of them migrated on into TX. I would particularly like to connect with members of this family, so as to fill in some blanks. 10.Martha Matilda TUCKER, who married Arthur STAAB. They lived mostly in the St. Louis, MO area. They had at least 13 children and perhaps more. I have a lot of information on this family. If any of you connect, I would love to share information with you. Thanks in advance. It is posted by many people on the Internet that Woodson MINER is the son of Henry B. MINER. Woodson was born 1816 in Kentucky. Woodson died about 1857 in Reynolds Co. Does anyone have old letters, family record, Bible, or anything to prove this? Also, Coatsworth Pinckney BLACK, born about 1798, married third to Elvira America RANDOLPH. Said to be family Bible for him. Does anyone have a copy? Since he married her in 1844 in Reynolds or Shannon Co., need the Bible record to prove her maiden name. Henry B. MINER is said to be the son of Cyrus MINER, who supposedly died in Mercer Co., Ky. Anyone have any proof of that? I am looking for anyone with information on Maud "Pearly" Lands who md. Wm. Radford in 1897 in Centerville, Mo, Reynolds County., Mo. He was from West Fork, she from Bee Fork. She was my husband's grandfather's sister and was "very" young when she married. She is listed as being 14 in 1900 census, married 3 years. She had a difficult life and died in Farmington. She is buried in Layne Cemetery near Elvins, Mo with her mother Melvine Massey Lands Hughes, no stone. She had 5 or 6 children, I am told. I would like to correspond with anyone who knew her personally, or of her, or anyone who could tell me her children's names. She was the daughter of Wm. Lands, granddaughter of Nancy Barton Lands Lewey, ggranddaughter of John and Mary "Polly" Earles Barton. I believe I have her picture but not sure it is her. Looking for STRICKLAN or STRICKLIN, William b. 1811 married to Harriet WATERS b. 1814 lived in Pilot Knob, Mo.. Were shown on Reynolds County, Mo. census in 1850. My GGrandfather James Stout STRICKLIN was born in 1850 in Pilot Knob. The family moved to Louisiana then to Arkansas. Several of their children married (Samantha and Lou) and stayed in Missouri. I am looking for the parents of Laura GIBSON born abt 1895 MO, who married David Ozro MIDKIFF born Mar 5, 1893 in Wayne Co., MO. They are in the 1910 census of Webb Township, Reynolds County, MO. His name in the census is Oziro C., which is an error. His age is reported as 19, but he was only 17. They had no children in this census, and probably married that same year. David was born March 5, 1893 in Wayne County, MO, and he died Oct 27, 1965 in Gideon, New Madrid, MO. Laura and David had at least eleven children: Gladys; Gertrude; Travis; Leonna; Richard; Elsie; Mittie; Geraldine b Jan 21, 1931; David; Bill N.; and Shirley. David and Laura divorced, the family broke up and the children were sent to live with foster families. We would like to find these children and their descendants. David later married someone named Carie. We do not know when he married Carie, or when he divorced Laura. We would also like to find where Laura died and is buried. David and Laura lived in Parkdale, Ashley, AR, where some of the children were born, but David returned to live in Kennett & Clarkton in Dunklin County and in Gideon, MO for the last twenty-two years of his life.
