Hello. My name is Sheila. My connection to Reynolds Co is my g-grandmother and others. Her name was Winnie Thompson nee Johnson. She was born in Black, MO in 1865. Her parents were William Johnson and Elizabeth Barton. Several of my mother's siblings were born there including Aunt Velliah, Aunt Burnyna, and others. These were all born Thompson. Any info you might share would be appreciated.

Hello Iam researching the names Johnson, Thompson, & Barton all believed to have lived in MO from 1800 to present. William Johnson married Elizabeth Barton and had a child Winnie Johnson who married Henry Thompson about 1881. My grandfather, Samuel Frances Thomspon, was their oldest son born in Black, Mo. Samuel married Ardella Foster. Winnie is buried in Mill Spring Cemetery in Wayne Co Mo. Samuel is buried in Eagletown Cemetery, OK.. He died 4/26/74 in Texarkana, Bowie Co. Tx. Thanks Sheila

Both sides of my family are from Reynolds County and I have accumulated quite a bit of information that I would be willing to share with anyone and I would be willing for people to contact me if they desire. On my fathers side are the Sanders and Glaves. The Sanders route to Reynolds Co is from North Carolina to Madison County and then Reynolds County. The time span is 1730 to present. The Glaves is Germany, Tennessee to Madison Co then Reynolds Co and is from 1778 - 1960. On my mothers is Rayfield and January. Rayfields route is Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky then Reynolds Co and the time span is 1765 to present. January route is France, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Reynolds Co and the time span is 1616 to present. The Rayfield Cemetery in Lesterville is where a large number of my ancestors are buried. Thank You.

Hello, My name is Jesse Stuart. I have been trying for most of my life, ass has several members of my family to try to find out the History of our great grandfather, he was said to have been born in Lesterville, Mo. on Feb. 18, 1861. His dad, we was told His name was Ashton Stuart not sure of where he was from either. I think, His mother's name was Sarah Stuart, But not sure, Sterling P. Stuart was known until his death in 1939 in Valley Park Mo. by his family, but I am 54 and most of my relatives are past away that knew any information on him. I would really appreciate any help you could give me in finding out hi past, who his mom ws, his dad if it was Ashton, who their relatives was, etc., I was told, he was from VA. But also told he was born in Lesterville. I went to funeral home where he was laid out and it says Lesterville. Please help, thanks. Thanks for all you help.
