In December 2002 I produced a book (of some 90 pages) based on my research into the Woodfield family. It was entitled "The Aston Cantlow Woodfields in Bygone Days". Some sections, including a piece on village life, as recalled by Alan Woodfield (born 1915) during his childhood, and transcripts of WWII letters from Alan's mother to him when he was away from home, serving in that war, are reproduced within Woodfield 'Miscellaneous' (accessible via 'Branches of the Woodfield Tree') The book is now available on CD (for further information 'CONTACT MARTIN').
