CLINE, JAMISON posted by Michael Egloff on Friday, September 5, 1997

I am a direct descendent of William Marshall Jamison who was the founder of New London, Mo. The Jamison family moved away from New London after the death of William, from Cholera in 1833, when the family property was forclosed by a Simon Davis from whom William had borrowed $6000.00. I have a great deal of info on the Jamison family, with links to many other families in that area (incl. Webb, Caldwell, Jefferies). I am currently looking for any information on the Cline family who came from Illinois, and lived in Ralls County, where they bred horses on the family's widely renowned Alta Plane (Palo Alto) stock farm, in Rensselaer. My greatgrandfather, James Milton Cline, served from 1895-1898 as a county judge for Ralls County. He married Ella Susan Jamison in 1881 in Ralls County. He was good friends with Champ Clark, who ran for President against William McKinley. In the winter of 1902, they moved to Tulsa, OK, and then on to San Antonio, TX in the winter of 1906/7. I am looking for Jamison/Cline relatives who may still reside in the area and information relating to the Cline family. Any help will be greatly appreciated and I will share what I have. Thanks.
