Pleasant Ridge Cemetery

This beautiful cemetery, located on Highway P, three miles NE of Weston, Missouri, is just South of the Pleasant Ridge Church. According to Paxton's Annals, page 61, the brick church was built in May 1844 by the United Baptist Church. Mr. Paxton gave the legal description of this site as Section 5, Township 53, Range 35.

Mrs. Grace Hull Davis (Mrs. A. D.) gave the information that Joe Nower furnished the land in 1874 and D. T. Polk surveyed it. More land was acquired in 1895.

This cemetery has been surveyed in two parts. The old part, north of the driveway, in 1864-1965; the new part, south of the driveway, in October 1967.
