Mary Lucinda Angeline, daughter of John Stephen and Rebecca Lucinda Estmond born in Phelps Co., March 30th 1888, died in Phelps Co., July 16, 1888, aged 3 ms and 16 days. James Rigdon was born in Washington Co., KY, Feb. 19th 1825, died near Edgar Springs, Phelps Co., March 20th 1889, aged 64 ys. 1 mo. and 1 day. Rev. A. John Riley Waddle, was born in ________Feb. 27th 1830, died in Phelps Co., July 3d 1890, at 3 p.m., aged 60 ys. 4 ms. and 6 days. Dr. George Washington Stephenson was born in France, Sept. 18th 1816, died near Baley P.O., Pulaski Co., Aug 23d 1890, aged 71 ys. 11 ms. and 5 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Bailey School House from Phil. 1 X 23 by J.J. Watts, Aug. 24th 1890 at 11 a.m. after which he was buried at the Bailey Cemetery at 4 p.m. Leaving widow, one son and 2 daughters. His widow, Mary Ann Stephenson was born Feb. 27th (___), died May (__) 1892.

Bro. William Ousley was born in Campbell Co., Tenn., March 25th 1815, died near the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Pulaski Co., MO, March 19th 1890, aged 74 ys. 11 ms. and 24 days. A funeral sermon was preached from Isaiah 48 X 10 at the Pleasant Hill Bap tist Church by J.J. Watts, Sept. 14th 1890 at 11 a.m., Sun. Widow, 2 child. living, 19 grand children, 9 great grand children, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Sister Louisa, wife of Bro. Hanan Bray, born in Pulaski Co., KY, Oct 15th 1830, died in Spring Creek Township, Phelps Co., MO, Sept. 19th 1890, aged 59 ys. 11 ms. and 4 days. She was the daughter of George and Susie Callihan. A funeral sermon was preached at the Smith Cemetery from Psalms 90 X 18 by J.J. Watts, Sept. 21st 1890. A member of the Baptists 45 ys.

Mr. Eli McCown was born in Washington Co., Virginia, April 15th 1819, died in Piney Township, Pulaski Co., MO March 4th 1891, aged 71 ys. 10 ms. and 19 days. A funeral sermon was preached at the Bird Kinnairds residence from Heb. 11 X 24 to 27 verse by J.J . Watts, after which he was taken to the Watts Lawn Cemetery and buried by the side of his wife, March 6th 1891. Leaving 5 children.

Luther, son of George Sidney and Vitula McCown born in Butler Co., KY, Feb. 24th 1879, died in Piney Township, Pulaski Co., MO, July 26th 1891, aged 12 ys. 5 ms. and 2 ds. Singing, prayer, and remarks at the Watts Lawn Cemetery by J.J. Watts and Rev. A. He ndrix, July 27th 1891.

Alexander D. Mathis was born in Rockingham Co., N.C., November 10th 1811, died in Spring Creek Township, Phelps Co., MO, Dec. 9th 1883, aged 72 ys. and 29 days. A funeral sermon was preached at the Mathis School House in connection with his widow, by J.J. Watts, Aug. 30th 1891, from Luke 2 X 29. See #45 six children survive him.

Mrs. Elvira Naomi, wife of William Alfred Ichord was born in Texas Co., MO, April 21st 1847, died in Piney Township, Pulaski Co., MO, Feb. 6th 1892, aged 44 ys. 9 ms. and 15 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Watts Lawn Cemetery from 1st Saml. 22 X 3 , Feb. 8th 1892 at 1 p.m. assisted by Rev. A Hendrix. Leaving a husband and 6 children.

Mrs. Frances Mary, wife of Walter (nee John) Holcomb, was born in Pulaski Co., MO, Feb 24th, 1861, died at Edgar Springs, Phelps Co., March 4th 1892, aged 31 ys. and 9 days. #99 George Allen PhelpsGeorge Allen Phelps was born in Pulaski Co., KY, March 1st 1834, died near Edgar Springs, Phelps Co., March 15th 1892, aged 58 ys. 1 mo. and 14 ds. Son of L.D. and Sarah Phelps. A funeral sermon was preached at the Smith Cemetery, Phelps Co. from Eccl. 7 X 7 by J.J. Watts, April 16th 1892 at 12 noon. His father survives him, of a family of 12 child, 7 survives, he had 4 child., 2 survives, 12 grand child. 10 survives and his widow survives him.

Perry Levi, son of the late Wilson and Mary Jane Turner born on Pea Ridge, Phelps Co., Feb. 18th 1886, died there May 12th 1892, aged 6 ys. 2 ms. and 24 ds. John Riley, son of John Perry and Isabelle Malone born in Phelps Co., MO, Oct. 16th 1867, drowned in Spring Creek on Mr. Blacks farm, Aug. 16th 1891, aged 23 ys. and 10 ms. George Everett Bradford, son of George I. and Malissa Jane Bradford born in Spring Creek Township, Phelps Co., MO, Oct. 5th 1884, died there Dec. 25th 1891, aged 7 ys. 2 ms. and 20 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the West Point School House in Phelps Co., from Matthew 14 X 12 by J.J. Watts, Dec. 25th 1892, 11 a.m.

Mrs. Sarah Jane, wife of Joseph A. Thompson, born in near Spring Creek P.O., Phelps Co., MO, Nov. 11th 1852, died on Big Piney, Pulaski Co., Feb. 28th 1893, aged 40 ys. 3 ms. and 14 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Thompson Cemetery from Isaiah 48 X 10 by J.J. Watts, March 2d 1893 at 12 noon. Husband, Mother, 5 children living and 1 dead.

Sister, Mariah Jane, wife of William Harmon, born in Fentress Co., Tenn., Apr, 9th 1821, died at Edgar Springs, March 27th 1893 at 2 p.m. aged 71 ys. 11 ms. and 18 days. A funeral sermon was preached at the family residence at Edgar Springs from Psalms 116 X 15 by J.J. Watts, March 27th 1893 at 7 p.m. and the next day her remains was taken to the Harmon Grave yard near the Hardister Mill on Big Piney and was buried there. Sister Harmon was the daughter of John and Nancy Moody, was married to William Harmon, Apr. 25th 1844, came to MO in 1856. In 1858 was baptisted by Rev. Wm. Briggs, was a mother of 7 children all dead, 10 grand children living, and 4 great great grand children. 3 brothers survives her in Tenn. (Bro. Harmon paid me $3.00 Nov. 28th 1893.)

William Carrol, son of James M. and Laura Ellen Steward born on Piney River, Pulaski Co., Oct 20th 1887, died there in Cullen Township, Pulaski Co., Apr. 17th 1893 at 2 p.m., aged 5 ys. 5 ms. and 27 ds. Sister Obedience, wife of William Johnson, born Warren Co., Tenn., Oct. 15th 1826, died in Texas Co., MO, May 3d 1893, aged 66 ys. 6 ms. 18 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Shaffer Cemetery from Isaiah 48 X 10 by J.J. Watts, May 4th 1893, 3 p.m. Husband and 6 children survives.

Louisa (Starrett), wife of H.F. Jones, dau. of Edward and Louisa Starrett, born in Warren, Maine, Jan'y 16th 1848, died in South Hope, MO, June 30th 1893, aged 45 ys. 5 ms. and 14 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the residence from Isaiah 48 X 10 by J. J. Watts, July 2d 1893 at 11 a.m., Sun., after which she was taken to Warren and buried in the "McQutepe (?)" Cemetery. 3 child survive. Waterman Starrett paid 6.70.

Malinda Elizabeth, dau. of Riley and Missouri Gibson, born in Dent Co., MO, Dec. 16th 1877, died in Dent Co., MO, March 16th 1893, aged 13 ys. and 3 ms. A funeral sermon was preached at the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Phelps Co., from Isaiah 48 X 10 by J.J . Watts, Sept. 17th 1893.

James McMahan, was born in Lawrence Co. Illinois, May 6th 1820, died in Piney Township, Pulaski Co., MO, Oct. 10th 1893, aged 73 ys. 5 ms. and 4 ds. Singing, prayer, and remarks were made at the Watts Lawn Cemetery, by J.J. Watts assisted by Rev. A. Hendri x, Oct. 11th 1893. A funeral sermon was at the Hopewell Baptist Chrch from Psalms 84 X 48 by Rev. A Hendrix, Aug. 19th 1894 at 11 a.m., Sun. assisted by J.J. Watts.

Sister Charlotte, wife of Enoch Solomon Mathis, born in Marion Co. KY, Apr 30th 1835, died in Spring Creek T. Phelps Co., Oct. 29th 1893 at 6 p.m. aged 58 yrs, 5 ms, & 29 days. Singing, prayer, and remarks at the Smith Cemetery by J.J. Watts and Rev. A. Hendrix Oct. 31st 1893 at 12 noon. A funeral sermon was preached at the Mathis School house in connection with her husband from Rev. 21X25 July 28th 1895 at 11 a.m. Sun. Husband & 7 children survive. James H. Mathis $1 June 8th 1895.

Maranda, wife of James M. Elkins, born in Pulaski Co., MO, Apr. 17th 1858, died in Piney T. Pulaski Co., Feb. 23rd 1894 aged 35 ys, 10 ms, and 6 days. A funeral sermon was preached at their residence, from 1st Thes. 4X13 & 14 verses, by J.J. Watts Feb. 24th 1894 at 11 a.m., after which the remains were taken to the Bradford Cemetery and buried. Husband, 7 children, and mother survives.

Mr. James Ray was born in Phelps Co. July 31st 1858, died at the Cave Spring place in Phelps Co. March 1st 1894, 2 p.m., aged 35 ys and 7 months, singing prayer and remarks at the Smith Cemetery by J.J. Watts, March 2d 1894 at 12 noon. Buried by the Odd Fellows. Widow, son, 3 brothers and 2 sisters survive him. John Brown gave me $1.

Alfred Huffman, born May 8th 1798, died May 12th 1869. Sarah Jane Huffman, his wife, born June 10th 1810, died Jan'y 29th 1870. Hugh Lawson Jones, her son, born June 11th 1830, died Sept 2d 1860. A funeral was preached at Elk Prairie, from 1st Cor. 15X35 by J.J. Watts on the above May 18th 1894 at 10 p.m., then they were reburied

Terresa, widow of Joseph Barber, was born in Ohio Feb. 1st 1808, died at Yancy Mills, Phelps Co., MO, June 23d 1894, aged 86 ys., maiden name Carmene. A funeral sermon was preached at the N.J. Brookshire Cemetery from Rev. 7X9 to 17 by J.J. Watts, June 24th 1894, 8 a.m. Mr. Harris gave me $2 June 24th 1894

Thomas Denison, was born in Hart Co., KY, May 31st 1822, came to Missouri in 1842. Died at Beulah, Phelps Co., MO, July 19th 1894 at 9 a.m., aged 72 ys, 1 mo, and 18 ds. Singing, prayer and remarks at the Beulah Cemetery by J.J. Watts, July 20th 1894 at 1 p.m. Prayer at his house before starting to the cemetery. 10 children 6 survive. Was of a family of 8 child., one sister, Mrs. Edgar survives him.

Victoria D. born Oct. 1st 1861, died Jan'y 27th 1866, aged 5 ys, 2 ms & 27 ds. 123. Rosa, born Aug. 26th 1878, died Sep. 5th 1878, aged 9 days. 124. Lilly, born Feb. 2d 1880, died Feb. 5th 1880, aged 3 days. The above were all born in Phelps Co., Missouri. They were taken up from the old Huffman farm and reburied at Lake Spring cemetery. Singing, prayer and remarks were held at the Lake Spring cemetery, by J.J. Watts, July 27th 1894 at 1 p.m.

Sarah Josephene, wife of James Harris, and dau. of Frank M. Jackson born in_________. Died in Dent Co., MO., Oct 11th 1893, aged 32 ys, 1 mo and 2 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Wm. Fore Church house, Phelps Co., from Isaiah 48X10 by J.J. Watts, Sept. 9th 1894 at 11 a.m., Sun. A member of the Enon Bap. church. Husband, father, stepmother, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters survive her.

Ellen, wife of William Lindsey Phillips, born in Dade Co., MO, Oct 6th 1848, died on upper Mill Creek, Phelps Co., MO, Sept 25th 1894 at 2 a.m., aged 45 ys, 11 ms and 19ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Smith Cemetery, from 1st Cor. 15X56 & 57th verses,by J.J. Watts, Sept 26th 1894 at 12 noon. Husband and 3 children survive. She was of a family of 12 chil. 5 survive=Jasper N., Austin, Jeff, William and Atta.

Florida Wilford, son of Josiah and Hannah Null was born in Jefferson Co., MO, January 14th 1877, died in Piney T., Pulaski Co., MO, Oct. 20th 1894 at 8 p.m., aged 17 ys, 9 ms and 6 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at his fathers residence, from Psalms 89X48 by J.J. Watts, Oct 22d 1894 at 1 p.m., after which he was taken to the McCortney Cemetery where religious service was held by Rev. A Hendrix before he was buried at 3 p.m. Father, mother, 4 brothers, and 5 sisters survives him.

Sarah Ann Margie, dau. of James and Naomi Smith born in Spring Creek T. Phelps Co., Dec. 22d 1890, died there at Pleasant Grove, Nov. 27th 1894 at 11:30 a.m., aged 3 ys, 11 ms, and 5 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Smith Cemetery from Gen. 37X30 by J.J. Watts, Nov. 28th 1894 at 3 p.m. Father, mother, 2 brothers and 1 sister survives. 4 grand parents.
