Margaret Green, daughter of Hiram K. and Rebecca Green was born in Oregon County, Missouri, died on Beaver Creek, Phelps Co., MO, Nov 25th 1874, aged 11 yrs, 8 ms, and 14 days. Singing, Prayer and remarks at the Beaver Creek Cemetery Nov. 26, 1874. near relatives: father and mother, 2 sisters and 4 brothers, by Elder J.J. Watts.


#2 Mrs. Susan Dean

Mrs. Susan Dean, wife of Ransom Dean, and daughter of William and the late Annie Woolsey, born in Pulaski Co., KY, Sept. 15th 1845, died on the Big Dry Fork in Phelps Co., Apr. 13th 1877, aged 31 yrs. 6 ms. and 28 days. Singing, Prayer and remarks at the Deans Cemetery, April 14th 1877. by Rev. J.J. Watts. A funeral sermon was preached by Rev. John Glover at the Dean School House, May 27th 1877=Relatives: Father, Step-mother, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.


#3 Mrs. Harriet Folson

Mrs. Harriett Folsom, wife of Jesse Folsom, and daughter of ______ Dean, born near Nashville, Davidson County, Tenn., died on the Little Dry Fork, Phelps Co., Oct 15th 1877, aged 42 ys. 7 ms. and 4 days. Singing, Prayer, and remarks at the Folsom Cemetery, Oct 17th 1877, by Rev. J.J. Watts. Relatives: husband, 5 children, 2 brothers and 3 sisters survive her.


#4 Jesse Grayson

Jesse, infant son of John and Nancy Grayson, born in Phelps Co., Jan'y 14th 1878, died in Phelps Co., Jan'y 16th 1878, aged 2 days. Singing, prayer, annd remarks at the Beaver Creek Cemetery, January 17, 1878 at 3 P.M. by Rev. J.J. Watts. Relatives: Father and Mother, 4 brothers and 6 sisters.


#5 John Peter Schurr

John Peter Schurr shot and killed himself, Feb. 5th 1878 at 11 a.m. He was born in Germany March 15th 1827 and at the time of his death was 50 years, 10ms and 20 days. Singing, prayer and remarks at the Beaver Creek Cemetery, Feb 6, 1878 by Rev. J.J. Watts. Relatives: widow, 3 sons and 1 daughter.


#6 Minnie Allen

Minnie, daughter of Valentine and Catherine Allen, born on Little Piney, Pulaski Co., July 28th 1871, died there Feb. 3rd 1878, aged 6 yrs, 6 ms. and 5 days, and Aug. 25th 1878, funeral services at his house by singing, prayer and remarks by Rev. J.J. Watts= Bro. T.E. Carr failed to come as expected. Relatives: Father and Mother, 2 brothers and 5 sisters survive.


#7 Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth VanKirk

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth "Bettie", wife of William Newton VanKirk was born in Chickasaw Co., Miss., Aug 15th 1850, died in Cold Spring Township, Phelps Co., MO, Aug 25th 1878, aged 28 ys. and 10 ds. Singing, Prayer and remarks at the Beaver Creek Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts, Aug 26th 1878. Relatives: Husband, Father and Mother and 1 sister. 3 children


#8 Francis Marion Woolsey

Francis Marion, son of Wesley (Junior) and Elizabeth Woolsey, born on the Little Dry Fork, Phelps Co., Dec. 8th 1872, died there Sept. 12th 1878, aged 5 ys. 9 ms. and 4 days. Singing, prayer, and remarks at the Beaver Creek Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts Sept. 13th 1878. Relatives: Father and Mother, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.


#9 William Walter Paine

William Walter, son of Daniel and Sarah Paine was born in Phelps Co., MO. June 20th 1878 and died on Little Piney, Phelps Co., Oct. 8th 1878 aged 3 ms and 18 days. Singing, prayer and remarks at the Beaver Creek Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts, Oct. 9th 1878.


#10 Mrs. Frances Malone

Mrs. Frances Malone, born in Washington Co., KY, Dec 6th 1811, died on Little Piney, Phelps Co., May 11, 1879 aged 67 ys. 6 ms. and 5 ds. Singing, Prayer, and remarks at the Allen Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts. Relatives: 7 children and 4 sisters survive her.


#11 Mrs. Malinda Catherine Ray

Mrs. Melinda Catherine Ray, born in what is now Phelps Co., May 5th 1842, died at Corinth, Phelps Co., MO, July 29th 1879, aged 36 ys. 3 ms. and 14 ds. My first funeral service was preached at the residence, from Isaiah 40 X 8. by Rev. J.J. Watts, after which she was taken to Corinth Cemetery and buried July 30th 1879. Relatives: husband, and 8 children survive.


#12 Mrs. Mary Caroline Tucker

Mrs. Mary Caroline, wife of F.M. Tucker, and daughter of William G. Giddens, born in Webster Co., MO, Feb. 17th 1857, died on Beaver Creek, Phelps Co., Aug 16th 1879 aged 22 ys. 5 ms. and 29 days. A funeral sermon was preached from Psalms 103 X 6 at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church by Rev. J.J. Watts, Aug 17th 1879, after which she was buried in the Beaver Creek Cemetery. Relatives: husband, 6 brothers and 6 sisters and Grandmother.


#13 George Newton Brown

George Newton, son of George R. and Malissa A. Brown, born in Phelps Co. Feb. 5th 1879, died on Little Dry Fork, Phelps Co., Aug 29th 1879, aged 6 ms. and 24 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Fulsom Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts, from Isaiah 48 X 10, Aug. 30th 1879. Relatives: Father and Mother.


#14 Matilda Claretta Leavitt

Matilda Claretta, daughter of Warren and Matilda Frances Leavitt, born on Beaver, Phelps Co., Aug 9th 1879, died there Nov. 7th 1879 aged 2 ms. and 28 days. A funeral sermon was preached from Isaiah 118 X 10 at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church by Rev. J.J. Watts, Nov. 8th 1879. Relatives: Father, Mother, 1 brother and Grand parents.


#15 Nancy Parthenia Giddens

Nancy Parthenia, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Reed, born in Saline Co., Illinois, Sept. 21st 1840, died on Beaver Creek, Phelps Co., March 6th 1880, aged 39 ys. 5 ms. and 15 days. A funeral sermon was preached at the residence by Rev. J.J. Watts from Luke 2 X 29 v., March 8th 1880, after which she was taken to the Beaver Creek Cemetery and buried. Relatives: Mother, 5 brothers, and 7 sisters.


#16 Susan Jackson

Susan, daughter of Jasper Jackson, born in Washington Co., MO, Sept. 1st 1866, died on Beaver Creek, Phelps Co. July 19th 1880 aged 13 ys. 10 ms. and 18 days. Singing, prayer and remarks at the Beaver Creek Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts, July 20th 1880.


#17 David Ray

Mr. David Ray, born in Grainger Co. Tennessee January 8th 1817, died in Phelps Co. Aug 27th 1880 aged 63 ys. 7 ms. and 19 days. A funeral sermon was preached at his residence from Luke 2 X 29 by Rev. J.J. Watts Aug 28th 1880. Relatives: wife, and sons and daughters.


#18 Abner Ray

Abner Ray Sen. born in Grainger Co., Tennessee, August 13th 1819, died on Pea Ridge, Phelps Co. Nov. 13th 1880, aged 61 years and 3 months. Singing, prayer and remarks at the Corinth Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts Nov. 14th 1880.


#19 James Albert Ray

Mr. James Albert Ray, son of Hubbard and Vashti Ray, born in Carroll, now Boon Co., Ark. March 22nd 1860, died on Upper Mill Creek, Phelps Co., Sept. 21st 1881, aged 21 ys. 5 ms. and 29 days. A funeral sermon was preached at the Smith Cemetery from Isaiah 48 X 10 by Rev. J.J. Watts Sept. 22nd 1881 at 12 noon. Relatives: Mother, 4 brothers and 3 sisters survive.


#20 Cynthia Deborah Leavitt

Cynthia Deborah, daughter of Warren and Matilda Frances Leavitt, born on Beaver Creek, Phelps Co., MO, Nov. 2nd 1880, died there Oct. 14th 1881, aged 11 ms. and 12 days. A funeral sermon was preached at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church from Proverbs 3 X 11 by Rev. J.J. Watts, Oct 16th 1881. Father, Mother, brother and Grandparents.


#21 William Hance

Mr. William Hance, born in Phelps Co. (son of Jack H.) June 25th 1846, died on Mill Creek, Phelps Co. Oct 30th 1881, aged 35 ys. 4 ms. and 5 days. Singing, prayer, and remarks at the Mill Creek or Kunkleman Cemetery, by Rev. J.J. Watts, Nov. 1st 1881. 8 children, 3 surviving and widow.


#22 Arthur Niles

Arthur, son of Frank J. and Dora Niles born in Phelps Co. Aug. 22d 1880, died there on Little Piney, Nov. 1st 1881, aged 1 year 2 ms. and 9 days. Singing, prayer and remarks at the Upper or Ray Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts, Nov. 2d 1881.


#23 Mary Casander Foard

Mrs. Mary Casander, wife of Mr. Wilson Foard born in Searcy Co., Ark. Dec 24th 1863, died at Judge Wades residence, Phelps Co. Dec 28th 1881 aged 18 ys. and 4 days. A funeral sermon was preached at the upper School House on Mill Creek, from Luke 2 X 29 by Rev. J.J. Watts, Dec 29-'81 and she was buried there.


#24 Martha Huff

Miss Martha Huff, daughter of the late Alex. and Eliza Huff born in Morgan Co., MO, Feb 17th 1835, died on Big Piney at Hopewell, Pulaski Co., Feb 24th 1882, aged 47 ys. 7 days. A funeral sermon was preached at Hopewell School House from Isaiah 48 X 10 by Rev. J.J. Watts Feb 25th 1882 and she was buried at the Mc Courtney Cemetery. Reburied at Watts Lawn. 1 sister survives.


#25 Eliza Elizabeth Merrell

Eliza Elizabeth, daughter of Benjamin Franklin and --------- Angelina Merrell, born on Mill Creek, Phelps Co. Sept 3d 1872, died on the Shaw Hollow, Pulaski Co. April 8th 1882 aged 9 ys. 7 ms. and 5 days. Singing, prayer and remarks at the McCourtney Cemetery, by Rev. J.J. Watts April 9th 1882, taken up and re-buried at Watts Lawn. Father, step-mother, 4 brothers survive.


#26 Mattie Elizabeth Riden

Mattie Elizabeth, daughter of James W. and Darcus Elizabeth Riden, born in Pulaski Co., MO, January 20th 1878, and died in Piney Township, Pulaski Co., Apr 17th 1882 aged 4 ys. 3 ms. and 27 ds. Singing, prayer, and remarks at the McCourtney Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts April 18th 1882.


#27 Mary Ann Hays

Old Granna, Mrs. Mary Ann Hays, born in N. Carolina, Aug 22d 1806, died at J.H. Ross farm, Pulaski Co., Oct 31st 1881 aged 75 ys. 2 ms. and 9 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Spring Creek Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts Nov. 5th 1882. 1 son, and 1 brother survive\namely J.H. Hays and Wm. Teasley.


#28 Martin Era Huff

Martin Era, son of the late Alexander M. and Margaret Huff, born on Piney, Pulaski Co. May 13th 1881, died there in Piney Township, Nov. 7th 1882, aged 1 yr. 5 ms. and 24 ds. Singing, Prayer and remarks at the McCourtney Cemetery by Rev. J.J. Watts, Nov. 8th 1882. 1 sister survives.


#29 & 30 John and Catherine Foster

Mr. John Foster, born in Tennessee, June 4th 1813, died on Piney River, Miller's place, Nov. 14th 1882 aged 69 ys. 5 ms. and 10 ds. Singing, prayer and remarks at the McCourtney Cemetery by J.J. Watts Nov. 15th 1882. Catherine, his wife, died same place July 12th 1881 aged 67 ys. 8 ms. and 15 ds. A funeral sermon of both was preached at the Hopewell Church from Phil. 1 X 23 by J.J. Watts July 15th 1883.


#31 Mrs. Susan E. Giddens

Mrs. Susan E., wife of John L. Giddens born _______Co., MO July 3d 1859, died at Baldridge, Pulaski Co., Dec 9th 1883, aged 24 ys. 5ms. and 6 ds. Singing, prayer and remarks at the grave near the residence by J.J. Watts, Dec. 11th 1883 1 p.m. A funeral sermon was preached upon her death and her mothers, See #32, from Job 14 X 14, by J.J. Watts June 1st 1884. A. Hendrix also preached a sermon, same time and place.


#32 Mrs. Mariah Southard

Mrs. Mariah Southard, born in Jackson Co., Tenn. Feb. 18th 1817, died on Baldridge, Dec 15th 1883, aged 66 ys. 9 ms. 27 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Baldridge Church from Job 14 X 14 by J.J. Watts June 1st 1884. A. Hendrix also preached a sermon, same time and place. She was the mother of Robert Welch and Susan E. Giddens, and sister of Nels Wood.

Mr. William Morgan, born in Morgan Hollow, Pulaski Co., MO, died near Waynesville and on Morgan Hollow, Pulaski Co., January 29th 1884 aged 47 ys. Singing, prayer and remarks at his residence by J.J. Watts Jan'y 31st 1884=Buried by the Free Masons.


#34 Isaac Mathis

Mr. Isaac, son of James J. and Nancy Mathis born in Phelps Co., Sept 24th 1864, died in Spring Creek Township, Phelps Co., Nov. 18th 1883 aged 19 ys. 1 mo. and 24 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, from Isaiah 48 X 10 verse, by J.J. Watts, June 22d 1884, 11 a.m. Relatives: wife and son, Father and Mother, 2 brothers and 5 sisters survive. .75 cts. given by Nancy Mathis.

Mrs. Elizabeth Jane, wife of George Stewart and grand-daughter of Mrs. Mary J.________, born in Phelps Co. May 2d 1860, died near Edgar Springs, Phelps Co., June 23d 1884, aged 24 ys. 1 mo. and 21 ds. Singing, prayer and remarks at the Smith Cemetery by J.J. Watts, June 24th 1884. Husband, Mother, 2 brothers and sisters.

Verda May, daughter of Fealix D. and Evaline Mathis, born at Pleasant Grove, Phelps Co., May 4th 1883, died there Aug. 17th 1884 aged 1yr. 3 ms. and 13 ds. Singing, prayer, and remarks at the Smith Cemetery by J.J. Watts, Aug 18th 1884. Father, Mother, 4 brothers and 2 sisters survive.

Mrs. Vashti, wife of Richard W. Wade, born near Indianapolis, Marion Co. Indiana, Dec 25th 1825, died near Ray School House, Phelps Co., July 17th 1884, aged 58 ys. 6 ms. and 22 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the upper school house on Mill Creek, Sept 7th 1884 by J.J. Watts from Phil. 1 X 23 verse. Husband, 4 sons and 2 daughters survive. Jasper N.= Austin,=Jeff, William, Ellen and Alta.

Mr. Andrew Jackson Hall, born in Rone Co., Tenn. June 8th 1839, died at Edgar Springs, Phelps Co., Nov 10th 1884 aged 45 ys. 5 ms. and 2 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Smith Cemetery from Luke 2 X 27 by J.J. Watts Nov. 11th 1884. Widow and children survive.


#39 William Thomas Vaughn

William Thomas Vaughn, known as Riley Van, born in VA, May 25th 1809, died near Plato, Texas Co., MO, Nov. 14th 1884 aged 75 ys. 5 ms. and 19 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Wood Cemetery Luke 2 X 29 by J.J. Watts, Nov 16th 1884. Widow and some children survive. He came from VA to Tennessee and moved to Missouri.


#40 James J. Mathis

Bro. James J. Mathis, born in Rockingham Co., North Carolina, April 17th 1814, died at Pleasant Grove, Phelps Co., Dec 2, 1884, aged 70 ys. 7 ms. and 15 ds. Singing, prayer and remarks at the Smith Cemetery by J.J. Watts, Dec 4th 1884. A funeral sermon wa s preached at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, from Job 14 X 14 by J.J. Watts, Aug. 9th 1885. Widow and 7 children survives him.


#41 John H.L. Sullivan

John H.L. Sullivan, born in Pulaski Co., MO, Dec 23d 1849 and died on Spring Creek near Relfe, Phelps Co., MO, Aug 24th 1884, aged 35 ys. and 8 ms. A funeral sermon was preached at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church from Psalms 130 X 6 verse by J.J. Watts, Dec 7th 1884. Widow, and 6 children survive him, and 3 bro's and 6 sisters, and his mother.

Mrs. Nancy McCown, wife of Eli McCown, born in Butler Co., KY, March 14th 1822, died on Big Piney, Pulaski Co., July 31st 1885, aged 63 ys. 4 ms. and 17 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the house of Mrs. Bird Kinnaird from Job 14 X 14 by J.J. Watts after which she was buried at the Watts Lawn Cemetery, Aug 1st 1885. Husband and 5 children survive .


#43 Annie Belle Merrell

Annie Belle, daughter of B.F. and Sarah Merrell, born in Pulaski Co., MO, July 28th 1884, died on the Elbow Hollow, Pulaski Co., Aug 7th 1885, aged 1 year and 9 days. Singing, prayer and remarks at the McCourtney Cemetery by J.J. Watts, Aug 8th 1885. Father and Mother, 7 brothers, 2 sisters survives.

Mrs. Mary A., wife of A.B. Welch, born in Stockbridge, Ingham Co., Mich., Mar 28th 1832, died on Beaver Creek, Phelps Co., July 17th 1884 aged 52 ys. 3 ms. and 19 ds. A funeral sermon was preached from Job 14 X 14 at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church by J.J. Watts, Sept 6th 1885. Husband and 3 children survive her.


#45 Margaret Mathis

Mrs. Margaret, widow of Alexander D. Mathis, born in Wilkes Co., N.C., May 17, 1821, died on Spring Creek, Phelps Co., Nov. 26th 1885, aged 64 ys. 6 ms. and 9 days. Singing, prayer and remarks at the Smith Cemetery by J.J. Watts, Nov 28th 1885. A funeral sermon was preached in connection with her husband at the Mathis School House by J.J. Watts assisted by Rev. A. Hendrix from Luke 2 X 29, Aug. 30th 1891. 6 children survive her.


#46 James B. Welch

James B., son of A.B. and the late Mary A. Welch, born in Stockbridge, Ingham Co. Mich., Jan'y 20th 1862, died by being blown up in the lead mines at Webb City, Jasper Co., MO, Feb. 11th 1886, aged 24 ys. and 21 days. His remains were brought to the Beaver Creek Cemetery where singing, prayer and remarks were made by J.J. Watts, Feb 14th 1886. Father and 2 sisters and 1 half brother were present.

Infant daughter of Thomas J. and Elizabeth Jane Davis, born dead near Hopewell School House, Feb 19th 1886. Singing, prayer, and remarks at the Watts Lawn Cemetery by J.J. Watts, Feb 20th 1886. Father, Mother and Grand mother. 1 half brother, 2 half sisters, 2 sisters survive.

Sister Mary Frances, wife of Samuel Pennington born in Ill., Feb 28th 1838, died near Zion Hill Church in Phelps Co. Nov. 2d 1885, aged 47 ys. 8 ms. and 4 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church from Rev. 14th 13 verse by J.J. Watts, May 2d 1886 at 11 a.m. Husband and 4 children survive.

Charles Lewis, son William Hamilton and Martha Lawson, born on Spring Creek, Phelps Co., MO, Dec 21st 1863, died on Spring Creek, Phelps Co., Sept 6th 1886 at 3 p.m., aged 22 ys. 8 ms. and 15 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Hamilton Cemetery by J. J. Watts at 5 p.m. from Isiah 48 X 10, Sept 7th 1886. Father, Mother and 5 brothers and 2 sisters survive.

Ida Magdaline, daughter of Albert C. and Frances Huff, born in Phelps Co., MO, May 24th 1884, and died in Spring Creek Township Phelps Co., MO, Sept 21st 1886, aged 2 years, 3 ms, and 27 days. Sister Elizabeth Reed, nee Giddens, born in Spartinburg District or County, South Carolina, May 10th 1810, died in the Crow settlement in Texas Co., Jan'y 31st 1887, aged 76 ys. 8 ms. and 26 ds. Was taken to Beaver and buried. A funeral sermon was preache d at the old Beaver Creek Church from Luke 2 X 29 by J.J. Watts, May 29th 1887 at 11 a.m. Children 15, now living 13) grand children living 118) G.Grand child. 48.

Mary, wife of William Hood, born in N.C., March 4th 1817, died on Beaver Creek, Phelps Co., Apr. 5th 1887, aged 70 ys. 1 mo. and 1 day. (1st married Weaver, maiden name Beckham) married Mr. Hood June 5=1840. A funeral sermon was preached at Beaver Creek Ch urch from Psalms 11 X 5 by J.J. Watts, July 31st 1887. Children 4 and 3 living= Grand children 13 and husband....Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Weaver paid $1.00


#57 Mary Susan Knapp

Mrs. Mary Susan, wife of Joshua Knapp and daughter of Rev. D.W. Turnure, born in Franklin Co., MO, May 18th 1865, died on Spring Creek, Phelps Co., Jan'y 7th 1887, aged 21 ys. 7 ms. and 19 ds. Sister, Mariah Jane, wife of William Harmon, born in Fentress Co., Tenn., Apr, 9th 1821, died at Edgar Springs, March 27th 1893 at 2 p.m. aged 71 ys. 11 ms. and 18 days. A funeral sermon was preached at the family residence at Edgar Springs from Psalms 116 X 15 by J.J. Watts, March 27th 1893 at 7 p.m. and the next day her remains was taken to the Harmon Grave yard near the Hardister Mill on Big Piney and was buried there. Sister Harmon was the daughter of John and Nancy Moody, was married to William Harmon, Apr. 25th 1844, came to MO in 1856. In 1858 was baptisted by Rev. Wm. Briggs, was a mother of 7 children all dead, 10 grand children living, and 4 great great grand children. 3 brothers survives her in Tenn. (Bro. Harmon paid me $3.00 Nov. 28th 1893.)

#116, 117, 118 Huffman, Huffman & Jones

Alfred Huffman, born May 8th 1798, died May 12th 1869. Sarah Jane Huffman, his wife, born June 10th 1810, died Jan'y 29th 1870. Hugh Lawson Jones, her son, born June 11th 1830, died Sept 2d 1860. A funeral was preached at Elk Prairie, from 1st Cor. 15X35 by J.J. Watts on the above May 18th 1894 at 10 p.m., then they were reburied


#119 Therresa Barber

Terresa, widow of Joseph Barber, was born in Ohio Feb. 1st 1808, died at Yancy Mills, Phelps Co., MO, June 23d 1894, aged 86 ys., maiden name Carmene. A funeral sermon was preached at the N.J. Brookshire Cemetery from Rev. 7X9 to 17 by J.J. Watts, June 24th 1894, 8 a.m. Mr. Harris gave me $2 June 24th 1894


#120 Thomas Denison

Thomas Denison, was born in Hart Co., KY, May 31st 1822, came to Missouri in 1842. Died at Beulah, Phelps Co., MO, July 19th 1894 at 9 a.m., aged 72 ys, 1 mo, and 18 ds. Singing, prayer and remarks at the Beulah Cemetery by J.J. Watts, July 20th 1894 at 1 p.m. Prayer at his house before starting to the cemetery. 10 children 6 survive. Was of a family of 8 child., one sister, Mrs. Edgar survives him.


#121, 122, 123, & 124 Richardson

121. William James, son of Andrew Jasper and Aldimira Richardson, born Feb. 12th 1859, died June 1st 1879, aged 20 ys, 3 ms, (?). 122. Victoria D. born Oct. 1st 1861, died Jan'y 27th 1866, aged 5 ys, 2 ms & 27 ds. 123. Rosa, born Aug. 26th 1878, died Sep. 5th 1878, aged 9 days. 124. Lilly, born Feb. 2d 1880, died Feb. 5th 1880, aged 3 days. The above were all born in Phelps Co., Missouri. They were taken up from the old Huffman farm and reburied at Lake Spring cemetery. Singing, prayer and remarks were held at the Lake Spring cemetery, by J.J. Watts, July 27th 1894 at 1 p.m.


#125 Sarah Josephene Harris

Sarah Josephene, wife of James Harris, and dau. of Frank M. Jackson born in_________. Died in Dent Co., MO., Oct 11th 1893, aged 32 ys, 1 mo and 2 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Wm. Fore Church house, Phelps Co., from Isaiah 48X10 by J.J. Watts, Sept. 9th 1894 at 11 a.m., Sun. A member of the Enon Bap. church. Husband, father, stepmother, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters survive her.


#126 Ellen Phillips

Ellen, wife of William Lindsey Phillips, born in Dade Co., MO, Oct 6th 1848, died on upper Mill Creek, Phelps Co., MO, Sept 25th 1894 at 2 a.m., aged 45 ys, 11 ms and 19ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Smith Cemetery, from 1st Cor. 15X56 & 57th verses,by J.J. Watts, Sept 26th 1894 at 12 noon. Husband and 3 children survive. She was of a family of 12 chil. 5 survive=Jasper N., Austin, Jeff, William and Atta.


#127 Florida Wilford Null

Florida Wilford, son of Josiah and Hannah Null was born in Jefferson Co., MO, January 14th 1877, died in Piney T., Pulaski Co., MO, Oct. 20th 1894 at 8 p.m., aged 17 ys, 9 ms and 6 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at his fathers residence, from Psalms 89X48 by J.J. Watts, Oct 22d 1894 at 1 p.m., after which he was taken to the McCortney Cemetery where religious service was held by Rev. A Hendrix before he was buried at 3 p.m. Father, mother, 4 brothers, and 5 sisters survives him.


#128 Sarah Ann Smith

Sarah Ann Margie, dau. of James and Naomi Smith born in Spring Creek T. Phelps Co., Dec. 22d 1890, died there at Pleasant Grove, Nov. 27th 1894 at 11:30 a.m., aged 3 ys, 11 ms, and 5 ds. A funeral sermon was preached at the Smith Cemetery from Gen. 37X30 by J.J. Watts, Nov. 28th 1894 at 3 p.m. Father, mother, 2 brothers and 1 sister survives. 4 grand parents.
