I am trying to locate a Rolla Warren. I believe him to be in Missouri in the 1880's and thought possibly he could be tied to Rolla Mo. if so he could have died there, any help appreciated. Phyllis Engberg email [email protected]
I am looking for some descendants of this couple. George was born 26 May 1868. His first wife was Alice Renton. He had two children with her, Elsie & Elizabeth and three children with Elizabeth, Minnie, Ernest G. & Dorothy Louise. I would appreciate anything you might be able to share.
Seeking information about Joseph and Electa WIRTH of Cold Spring Township, Phelps County, Missouri from 1870 to 1900. They were born into the Catholic Faith in Bohemia and immigrated to the USA in 1868. The 1880 Federal Census lists the following information about them and their children: Joseph Wirth (45), Electa (38), Anna (16), Frances (15), Emma (8), Gustave (6), Mary (3), Rudolph (infant). A son, William, followed later. Anna married Joseph KLAUS. It is unclear what happened to the other children....Gustave and William appear to have remained bachelors to the 1930 census. Mary may have married Edward SANDS, but this is unsubstantiated at this time. Rudolph may have remained a bachelor and lived with them. Any help regarding this query would be greatly appreciated. Jim (Peshtigo, Wisconsin)
Looking for anything about John Wright who was known to live in Phelps Co. MO in the late 1880s with wife Mat C., children Lola, Wesley/Weslie and Woodie. Had brothers David C. and Sam that are known to family. This is our brick wall and we would appreciate any help to finding this family. Thanks. Shirley Brown
I am looking for information on John Clayton Clements who I believe was married to Lucinda Catherine Zimmerman on 1 January 1879 in Phelps Co., MO. Can you tell me to where I would send a request for the original marriage application/license? I am trying to verify that John C. Clements is the son of Pius Richard Clements of Indiana. I wonder if there are any land or probate record indexes in Phelps Co. that might provide additional information. I believe that John C. Clements migrated to MO after 1870 and before 1879 and remained there the rest of his life. I have a possible birth date of 24 January 1857 and death date of 13 May 1906 for him.
Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated, as I live in Detroit and can’t get to Missouri very easily.
Thanks,
Tina Brown
