died Saturday, July 8, 1961 at age 84. He is survived by his
wife
Anna Bertholomey; one son, Abe and 2 grandchildren. Interment
in the Mounds Park Cemetery, near New Madrid.

- Minnie B (Christopher) Bertholomey, born October 13, 1879,
died May 15,1943 at Marked Tree, Arkansas. She was married, to
Lewis B Bertholomey, on July 6, 1902. She is survived by her
husband and one son Abe, four brothers; John W Christopher, Joe
Christopher, Ivo Christopher, Robert W Christopher and one
sister; Mrs Betty Swilley. The funeral was at Lilbourn,
Pallbearers were Phillip Glueck, Norton Pickett, Jim Newton,
Arvid Crristopher and Joseph Christopher. Interment in the
Mounds Park
Cemetery.

She was the daughter of, John Wesley Arbuckle and Mary {Smith}
Arbuckle.
She leaves behind husband; William Nealy Gilbow, daughters; Mrs
C Glueck of Morehouse, Mrs E L Arbuckle of Caruthersville,
Mrs Wm M Worth of Risco; Son Lilbourn Asbury Gilbow of Risco;
and Sister: Mrs J D Adams. Pallbearers are
Elvin Arbuckle, Mitchell Arbuckle, Corliss Arbuckle, Virgil
Glueck, Buster Adams, Arthur Randolph

she died in
Phoenix, AZ. 27 Aug. 2000.

July 1989 in Indiana. Hurtle E. Goodrich is the grandson of
S.W.Goodrich
listed in the Grand Lodge #166 of Mason's.
Margaret Mosley is the daughter of Tat Mosley and Ada Starr.
Ada Starr died in 1918 and Tat died cir. 1939-41 [?] Both are
buried in
New Madrid or Portageville. Margaret Mosley had a brother,
Raymond Mosley. He was born in Portageville in 1912 and died in
Flint, Mich. in 1994. A sister Stella Mosley married James
Higgins. She was born in Portageville in 1910 and died in Ill.
about 1992.
Another sister has "disappeared". Last heard from about 1950[?]
Her name is Madolia Mosley. Married name unknown.

- Alice {Dement} Morefield; born August 12, 1866. at Campbell,
died February 10,1940, in New Madrid Co. She married Asbury
Morefield in Obion co, Tn in 1885. She was the daughter of
James and Martha A. {Morefield} Dement. He is survived, her
husband,
Edith Gilbow of Risco, Ed Knight of Hayti. Ruth Folks of
Portageville. W N Hawkins of Portageville, Six grandsons as
pallbearers.
Hal and Dalton Folks, A J Knight, -J C and Walter Young and
Billy Hawkins.
She is buried at Portageville, New Madrid Co.
- Ada (Starr) Mosley

- Ada [Starr] Mosley died in Portageville in 1918. She was
the wife of Talpha Mosley and mother of four children: Stella
b.1910,
Raymond b.1912, Margaret b.1914 and Madolia b.1917. All born in
Portageville, MO.

evening, 2/9/1929
- Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Terry of New Madrid, who
died in a hospital here Friday from burns sustained January 29,
when
she poured kerosene on burning coals in a stove at her home,
will be held here Sunday. Interment will be in a cemetery here.
Mrs. Terry was seeking to revive the fire by pouring the
kerosene on it when her clothing became ignited.

- Ruby J. Thomann, 64, of 14264 James St., Holland, MI., died
Saturday, Nov. 7, 1987 in Holland Community Hospital, Holland,
MI.
after an extended illness.
Mrs. Thomann was born in Parma
Mo. but moved to the Holland area in 1941. She formerly worked
for
Dutch Boy Bakery. She was a member of the Church of God. She was
preceded in death by her parents William and Emma Matthews
from Parma, Missouri and a son, Randel, in 1941. Surviving
are her husband, Raymond a son, Daniel of Holland three
daughters,
Mrs. Gene (Melba) Schrotenboer, Mrs. Gerald (Bonnie) Skaggs and
Mrs. Robert (Peggy) Van Eyk, all of Holland 10 grandchildren
three
step-grandchildren one great grandchild her mother-in-law Mrs.
Oma Tippett of Holland two sisters-in-law Mrs. Jess (Avis)
Matthews and
Mrs. Clifford (Clarene) Matthews, both of Missouri and nieces,
nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday
at Dykstra
Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave., with Pastor R.D. McKinney
o!fficiating. Burial will be in Pearl Cemetery. Visitation
is 7 to 9 this
evening at the Northwood Chapel.
