      Rumilda C. Lantis, 91, of Lincoln, formerly of Kearney, died Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Tabitha Home in Lincoln.
      Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Amherst with the Rev. Bert Mueller officiating. Burial will be at Stanley Cemetery in Amherst.
      Horner-Lieske-Horner Mortuary in Kearney is in charge of arrangements.
      She was born July 15, 1913, in Amherst to George and Louis (Rusch) Maul.
      On Jan 5, 1937, she married Frank Parrish, Jr. He died in 1981.
      In December 1986, she married Charles Lantis. He died in 2003.
      She grew up in Amherst, was confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran Church north of Amherst and graduated from Amherst High School in 1930.
      She worked at Baumgartner Department Store in Kearney.
      She and her first husband moved to North Platte. They later moved to Grand Island, Broken Bow, Lexington and back to North Platte in 1957.
      She was a bookkeeper at Dryden Drug for 23 years. She also did volunteer work at the hospital, church and schools.
      She and her second husband moved to the Regency in Kearney in 1994. Later, she was one of the first residents to move to the Northridge Retirement Home.
      She was a member of the Kearney Woman's Club.
      In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by four brothers, a grandson and a stepson.
