Cleo G. SCHMIDT
Cleo G. Schmidt, 82 of Paris, formerly of St. Louis, passed away at her home on Monday, March 13, 2006.
Mrs. Schmidt was born on January 19, 1924, in St. Francois County, MO, the daughter of William and Emma (Yarbrough) Hartman. She was married to Donald William Schmidt, Sr. on November 16, 1946, at the St. Louis Cathedral in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on January 26, 2006. Mrs. Schmidt was employed by Boeing and Emerson Electric as an electrical inspector before retiring and moving to Stoutsville.
She is survived by a son, Donald Schmidt, Jr. and his wife, Anne, of Florissant; and four grandchildren, Laurie Manoli and her husband George of the state of Florida, Denise and her husband Chris of Chicago, IL, Heather Schmidt and Michael Schmidt of Florissant. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. n Monday, March 20, at the Joachim Cemetery in Old Mines, MO. Visitation was held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, and funeral services were held at 7:00p.m. on Sunday, March 19, at the Agnew Funeral Home. Burial was in St. Joachim Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Paris.
