Eva Lois ADAMS Eva Lois Adams, 92, passed away March 18, 2006, at the Greens at Creekside. Funerals services were at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at McGilley- George Funeral Home, 611 Chestnut, Belton, MO. Burial was at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Madison with a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. Visitation was held from 9:00-10:00 a.m., prior to service. Memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Lois was born September 28, 1913, on a farm near Holliday, and grew up in Madison. She was the only child of Evalena Hall and Cy Cunningham. She attended Central Methodist College in Fayette, MO. She married Jesse Wallace Adams in 1934. He preceded her in death in 1979. Lois was a member of Raymore Christian Church, Kansas City Chapter of DAR, Cass County Historical Society, Foxwood Springs Computer Club and Web committee. She was an avid genealogist and worked as an accountant for several companies and in many volunteer organizations. She made her home at Foxwood Springs for 26 years, where she was a volunteer chairman of the library for 10 years. Lois is survived by her daughter, Vickie Gruver of Kansas City, MO; 3 grandchildren, Barry Gruver and wife Dr. Cathy Spong of Arlington, VA; Andy Gruver of Kansas City MO; and Amy Anderson of Overland Park, KS; and 3 great-grandchildren, Juliana and Winston Gruver and Emma Anderson.
