Florida Lodge, No. 23, A. F. and A. M. is one of the oldest in the State, it having been organized as early as May, 1852, with the following charter-members:

The hall is over J. L. Pollard's harness store, and is owned by the lodge. The room is neatly furnished, and everything paid for. The lodge has about 40 members in good standing.
