Always Home Of The Buerk’s

Back

The modern house in which M. E. Buerk lives at Paris is simply a modernization of the pioneer home the two Buerk brothers, Thomas and Christian, built on that site when they came from Wurtenburg, Germany. A heavy growth of forest trees covered all that part of the town when they selected the site for their house in 1853. The clearing was done with their own hands.

Additional Information:

Built in the late 1850’s or early 1860’s by Thomas and Christian Buerk. The Buerk brothers were from Germany. Thomas Buerk was generally supposed to have been the wealthiest man in Paris.
