Craig Utterback has traded his farm near Stoutsville for a stock of general merchandise in Illinois. He will have a public sale in the near future.

Paul Nipps is spending the week in Kansas City. He went up to meet his mother and sister, who are on their way from Washington D.C., on a visit.

The people of the Greenwood vicinity, north of Paris, met at their church last Friday morning to put the grounds and cemetery in order. The ladies served a big dinner at noon.

E. T. Fuller, W. E. Flanders and General Frank W. McAllister attended the meeting of the Congressional Committees at Chillicothe, Tuesday. Both the Democratic and Republican committees met at that place on the same day.

E. T. Wetmore Gives His Son Estate

E. T. Wetmore, Tuesday, deeded all of his estate, both real and personal, with the exception of his home, to his son, Harry B., for the consideration of “one dollar and his love and affection.” The estate consists of 400 acres of land just northeast of Paris, a half interest in the Wetmore & Cissell livery stables and stock business, and three houses in Paris. A conservative estimate of the value of the above is $50,000.
