However, two years after they were married they were in DeKalb Co, Al 1850 census report. 1870 census they and 3 children were in McDonald Co, MO. Their home Richwood, McDonald Co., MO. Meletha Ellen b. 10 Oct 1865 Marion Co., AR. Meletha Ellen married Charles Albert Stites (1862-1940) they married 1883 she died 11 09 1940 in Broken Arrow, OK. Children: Lulu Mae (1888-1965)
This information was furnished to me by a distant cousin who is working on our lines and I have copy/pasted it here. Polly Froelda Jones was the daughter and eldest child of Joseph and Rachel Walker Jones. I have Rachel's family record and it records 13 surviving children the last being my great grandfather James Madison Jones.
