Add'l information:

Application for letters of administration," which identify the heirs, from the 1835 & 1836 Marion County intestate probate record for William Tennell who is my 4th great-grandfather.  I also transcribed another document from the probate file, dated  February 1840, that specifically identifies the children, Fielding and Elizabeth J. Ray, of Andrew and Jane Tennell Ray as descendants of William Tennell.

Although Benjamin Tennell, who was my 3rd great-grandfather, was initially appointed administrator in August 1835 of William Tennell's estate, Samuel Becket, who married Sarah Tennell 17 January 1836, was subsequently appointed administrator of the estate in February 1836.
