Clark, Blanche Mathews
Blanche Mathews Clark of 403 Carter in Farmington died at her residence on 
December 24, 1980 at the age of 89 years.  

She was born in Madison County on August 21, 1891 to the late John B. 
Mathews and Adeline P. (Rion) Mathews.  

She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Clark, Farmington, and Edna 
(Mrs. Charles) Arnold of Farmington; one sister, Mrs. W.R. Short of Danville, 
Illinois; and one brother, Lee Mathews of East Rockwood, Michigan,.  She 
was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Clark in 1956.  One 
daughter, six sisters and two brothers, also preceded her in death.  

Chapel services were held Friday, December 26, at 2 p.m. at the Miller 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. G. Maxell Teeter officiating.  Interment 
was in the Knob Lick Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Home.  

Mrs. Clark was a member of the Central Rebekah Lodge in Flat River for 
sixty years, and also a member of the United Memorial Methodist Church.  

Memorials may be made to the United Memorial Methodist Church or the 
Knob Lick Cemetery care fund.
