The town of Chillicothe is located at the junction of Highways 36 and 65.    It is in the center of Livingston county and is a town with a population between 14-15,000 people.

  • The George W. Somerville Room contains materials not only related to Livingston County history, but also records from other counties.
  •  The Library has for sale a publication called, “Getting Started In Genealogy” that has some tips and worksheets to assist with gathering information.
