Name: Charles Willis Green
Birth Date: 29 Jul 1860
was born in Lake county, Ohio, on July 29, 1860. He is a son of Nelson and Maria C. (Williams) Green. The father died in 1908. The mother is still living in Brookfield. They became the parents of two children, their son, Charles, and their daughter Alma, who is now the wife of W. A. Kaup. The grandfather, Jesse Green, was born and reared in Massachusetts, then moved to Lake county, Ohio. Charles W. Green was first married in September 1885 to Miss Nellie J. Jones, a daughter of Rev. Thomas A. and Jane Jones and by this marriage became the father of one child, his daughter, Frances Loraine, who is now a teacher. Her mother died on December 10, 1896 and on November 2, 1899, he was united with Miss Florence Burnett, a daughter of James and Mary (Ware) Burnett. Of this union two children were born, Howard Elliott and Marion.

(Tyler) Jones, the former a native of the state of New York and the latter of Vermont. On August 4, 1898, Mr. Jones married Miss Effie A. Moore, the daughter of James A. Moore.

Description: History of Linn County, 1882 Page 815-817 The New Boston Cemetery is situated just outside of the town, and has enclosed a half-acre of ground given by L. B. Hudson. It lies on a gentle slope northwest of the town. A dau. of C. E. McKinney was the first body interred within its sacred enclosure, and at this time some thirty-five mounds tell of death's work in the country around. Current events of New Boston: Charles Borron was the first male child born within the incorporated limits of New Boston, and the first female child born was Eva, dau. of John and Mary Wright, the latter being also the first child born in New Boston, and the year, 1873, if not 1872. The first death was Oscar, the son of Albert and Lucy Swink, who died May 17, 1875.

Name: George W. Bailey
was born on a farm within Linn County, near New Boston, on May 9, 1855. His parents were John G. and Mary (Forest) Bailey, the former a native of Kentucky and the latter of Virginia. The father was born on a farm near Glasgow, Barren county, in "the dark and bloody ground," in 1818. He died in 1897 and the wife in 1890. They had five sons and four daughters. In June, 1887, Mr. Bailey was united in marriage with Miss Mollie Melville, of Albany, New York. They have one child, their daughter Lois M., who is the wife of Ray Jones of Topeka, Kansas.

Description: Located at Brookfield, Missouri The caretaker stated forty-five acres is maintained in this cemetery and ten acres is in reserve.
