This name goes back to Hyde County to the time of John Squires King of 
the Mattmuskeet and was on the list of names of interest.





4. How is your Y-line DNA line connected to the colonists, the 

surnames, Native people or the location? Stated above





5. Please provide a brief write up (2 paragraphs to one page in 

length) on your line! This line from William E Squyars has been traced back with paper 
trail to Jonas Squires of Hyde County who was born about 1705 and can be 
found in some of the deeds dates as early as 1730's
